Dose what it needs to do not the best performance or sound but a descent bang for your buck for a pipe and spark arrester combo.
The Pipe and arrestor look terrific. The Packaging of product from Motosport was very bad! My pipe arrived with a small dent in it. pipe packaged in a box floating around on top of a brake rotor with arrestor floating around box also. Packaging filler/ plastic air bags sitting in box providing 10 % coverage at best to protect pipe and arrestor. Motosport should be ashamed how this product was sent!!!
You cant go wrong it's an fmf. My bike has a runs much better and the turbinecore is the only spark arrestor available for my machine. If you are looking for a great mid-range pipe you've come to the right place. It does seem to sound a little louder than the gnarly and turbinecore my freind has so if you need a quieter sounding package this isn't for you, I would recommend a pro circuit 296 spark arrestor and pipe. The only complaint I have is the way it sounds. It is very high pitched and people in front of me think a swarm of bees is chasing them but you can't have everything I guess.
Added OEM exhaust hardware from Motosport to order which made the install very simple and fast.
I have never owned an FMF pipe or silencer before, but I needed a spark arrestor and wanted to broaden my powerband a bit on my 2013 YZ250. I've bought other brand pipes before and had issues with how well they bolted up. Not so with this pipe. It fit perfectly, and did indeed juice up the powerband. Highly recommended!
When I bought this I was worried it would stick past the fender of my 05' yz125 but it's basically the same length as stock and looks/sounds great! I also noticed better/smoother acceleration while riding around my street

Question:Q: I have a 2000 KX250 just bought a Turbinecore 2 beacause it has a spark Arrestor but it dont line up with the mounting brackets my pipe is a FMF Gold series Gnarley any help will be greatly appreciatedQuestion asked 1 year 5 months ago
Question answered by MichaelUser's contributor status: Top 10Question answered 1 year 5 months agoAnswer: A: Two things that might help. But one direction. Call FMF tech support directly to see if they make a joint for that combination, or you may have to find the correct exhaust and purchase the correct spark arrestor to put into that exhaust. Either way, FMF will guide the way.

Question:Q: Will this fit my 2004 yamaha blaster? and do i need to buy anything to go with the pipe and silencerQuestion asked Over 3 years ago
Question answered by MotoSportExpertUser's contributor status: MotoSport Staff ExpertQuestion answered Over 3 years agoAnswer: A: Yes this FMF Fatty Pipe & Turbinecore 2 Spark Arrestor Silencer Combo Fits your 2004 Yamaha BLASTER. Just be sure to correctly select the Year/Make/Model of your ATV before ordering so we can be sure to send you the correct combo for your ATV. Jetting changes and new gaskets may be needed. Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.
Due to the variations that may come into effect when tuning an engine (i.e. pipes, intake, altitude, cams, displacement, standard or high compression pistons, etc.) we CANNOT offer jetting recommendations. It would really depend on your location (altitude/temperature) and how your bike is running with the current jetting. Jetting can be very tricky, there isn't one setting that will work everywhere with every bike. I would recommend taking your bike to a local motorcycle dealership’s service department to have your bike properly jetted.

Question:Q: Would This pipe get better low-end power versus a shorty exhaust or something along those linesQuestion asked Over 4 years ago
Question answered by MotoSportExpertUser's contributor status: MotoSport Staff ExpertQuestion answered Over 4 years agoAnswer: A: The FMF Powercore 2 Shorty silencer has a shortened inner core length and canister. The shorter overall length allows for the exhaust gases to exit quicker giving the Powercore 2 Shorty silencer better performance on the bottom to mid range of the power band.
