While I have not dealt with Fly gear much. More of their products are catching my eye. These are a well thought out, quality, roomy pant that is comfortable. Though I really prefer an in boot pant so my knee guards can slide on the rocky terrain I ride, the mud and pebbles that were getting in my boots was annoying on a long ride. So far so good, I ended up needing 2 sizes larger than what my reg jeans are.

Have not been able to use them on a ride yet due to the winter in sd. But I can attest the fit is awesome for us tall riders. Finally found a pair of otb pants that are long enough! I'm 6'3 and there long enough! I'm excited to put them to the test come spring.
If you remember JNCO Jeans from the 90's and wish you could find a pair to ride in.... This would be them... Massive pants, large enough for a guest lol
I didn't get to go riding with them. Due to other reviews i bought one size small. That didn't work. I compare my size to Levi's jean. I am returning and buying the same size as my jean's. I would consider myself short at 5'9". these pants would be to long for me. I think the MX boots will take up the length, so it wouldn't be a big problem. This review isn't a reflection on the pants. I went with what other reviews suggested. They look and fell like quality pants. I only rated what i experienced look and fell. I will do another one when i get the pants that fit and able to go riding with them.
I have two rides with these pant great fit. Deep pockets, enough room for your phone and wallet.
The bottoms open enough to go over your boot with little effort. The Velcro straps keep the bottom of the pant close to your boot. I would buy another pair.
Bout for my utility so i don’t ruin any more pairs of jeans great material like motocross pants and quality only problem they’re TOO BIG, unless you’re 6’ 8” tall don’t order your normal zize order a size or maybe two smaller these i ordered a 32 and they were like a 36 on me im 6’ tall and 160 lbs and they were just too long and big like snowboarding pants otherwise good quality pants just need to order a size or two smaller
I just bought these and like them a lot. Quality is great and fit was good. Also has pockets which are very useful. I wear them as shorts when I ride. Only minor complaint is they are longs when unzipped as shorts but did not get in the way of my boots and knee pads. I bought the jersey and gloves they are all very nice. This is my first time wearing Fly gear.
I have a few months of ridding on these pants and i am very happy with them except for the fact they have no heat protection on the inner legs.mine have melted holes in them on my right knee area i wish they had a patch of leather or some other heat resistant material there.
Ignore the Hobbit! These are 1 of the very, very few options for taller people. I waited to write this till I had a few good rides in em. Super comfy. Fit great. Tons of room at the knees for knee brace/ pads. Short people, go pick one of the million options at your disposal and find something else to complain about. Totally worth the money!
Pay NO ATTENTION to reviews from whiny short people, crying "These pants are too long." Hogwash, those people have PLENTY of other short pants to choose from. If you're over 6' (I'm 6'4"), these are excellent over-the-boot pants that fit really well.
My only complaint is that I wish Fly Racing had left sleeves in the knees and hips to accommodate armor. That would have been a nice touch.
Our Firstgear HT Overpants are available in "Tall" sizes and our REV'IT! GTX pants are available in "Long" sizes.
