If you've ever dropped the bike and had your hand guards pivot around to the point you couldn't ride until you got the tools out to fix em, you will appreciate the strength of these inserts. The tap gets a little tough cutting near the end but just take it slow. Make sure to use cutting oil and work the tap back in forth to remove burs. Use compressed air to blow out the residue. Also since the inserts are aluminum and the screw is steel, be sure to use some "Never-Seez" or equivalent on the threads since the dissimilar metals will cause corrosion. Another nice feature of the Fasway inserts is that they are easily removable and can be re-used on new bars, unlike other brands of inserts. Definitely two thumbs up.

You want your bars to not move buy these and locktite them in. Done. Solid.
Easy to install. Works great used them for evo advanture bars on 2012 klr650. Go slow with tap and use a lubricant.
If you own the Fastway Hanguard system you will definitely want to pick these up. If you use the wedge system and have ever put the bike down then you know those will get bent easily. This eliminates that ever happening. Easy install, just make sure when you are tapping to take it slow. Half to full turns then thread out to remove any and all burrs from the tapping process so you won't mess the new threads up. A little lubricant like WD40 also helps with the tapping process.
