Good low cost brace

I don't normally wear knee braces, but bought this to help stabilize my leg after overextending it some. Really helped and gave me confidence to ride hard until my knee healed.

Confidence boosters

I raced mx for 10 years without any braces at all. My confidence was boosted on my first ride with these. Not the ones pros use but for my budget they are a definite security against injury.

Good brace

I've worn these for two mx races now. They started off a little stiff, but the second weekend I took them out I forgot that I even had them on. It was almost a surprise as I was packing up for the race that I had to take them off. I do get some minor rub/pinching on the back of my knee, but it's hardly noticeable during the race. Fit is pretty spot on.

My only concern are the metal braces on the sides. It's two bars that go from lower thigh to upper calf on the inside and outside of the knee. They don't seem like they are as supportive as they could be, but I also haven't had that wonderful opportunity going down and really testing how they would perform in a bad situation. Overall good protection and I will never ride without them. I bought two and I'd recommend you do the same.

Great for just rideing in the hills.

I bought these for just playing in the hills, but if your going to go out there and get crazy...spend the money and get the $300-$600 Knee Brace.

Not a good buy. Very poor quality

I have purchased a number of items from Motosport and I think this is one of the worse. I ordered two and one came in damaged and the second one came I sewed the first time it was worn. A very expensive item to last one time. I suggest you do,not buy those.

I truely love these knee braces. this is my 3rd set. I originally had SX01 when I was on Mini's. They were great. They were becoming to small. I bought SX02 Set and loved them. I got years of great protection and comfort from them. I have tried a Few other Brands and Model types. But I have come to feel very comfortable and never have had a serious knee issue with The SX02. Motosport has them in Stock for a Great price.

Q: Would these be good for snowboarding?
I've had a few bad wrecks learning to snowboard and both of my knees have now been pretty badly injured. Kt tape helps but the adhesive gives me hives. I'd like to find braces to wear while snowboarding to help with support for the current injuries and protect from further injury. Also, if I do wreck with these on and my legs go the opposite way of my body in a wreck, are they so stiff that they'd possibly injure my calves (below the braces)?

A: I snowboard as well and I would not use these for snowboarding as you need to bend and rotate your knees while riding. I would honestly work on getting on recovering from your injuries first and strengthen your knees before getting back to boarding.

A: If you are looking for a pair, you will need to purchase two braces. The brace will fit both left and right legs.

A: Measure the center of your knee circumference and compare the measurements to the sizing chart to find the best fit. Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

A: go to the knee sizing chart and measure your leg at the thigh knee and calf with a clothing tape measure and size them by the chart they do stretch some for a nice fit.... I recommend them....

A: It has limiter built in these braces. But they are no adjustable. They are made out of metal. Seem to work great so far on my pair. Would recommend them for the price.

Q: Can this lock the knee completely straight, with no flexion at all? i need it to be like that for my post op. thanks!

A: Unfortunately this knee brace cannot be locked in a straight position. All of the braces we carry are designed to be used while riding and do not have the provisions to be locked in place. You may be able to modify it to lock but they are not designed to be used in that manner.

A: no there is nothing on them that locks. need to get a medical brace. I got one when I got my left knee acl fixed
