This is a good shoulder gard. The materials and build are good quality, but the fit is definitelly too tight. I made the mistake of asking for a medium (I am usualy in between S & M) and not taking the advice to go a size larger than normal, and the fit is extreamly tight, to the point it still hurts my unederarm even after several multy-hour rides.

works really well, i'm able to race with no problems with the shoulder. easy to put on and comfortable.
Purchased this for my son who was recently diagnosed with AFM. The therapists where my son is going for treatment said it’s the best designed and most supportive shoulder brace they have seen. It has a lot of adjustment and super strong velcro.
The only negative I have to say is the sizing is not spot on and they run a touch small. Oredering a size up from your actual measurement should make it more comfortable across the chest and armpit area.
I had a recent crash in a baja race. Torn rotator cuff and broken arm bone (part where it sits in shoulder). had to practice for the baja 1000 3 weeks after the crash. This shoulder support, combined with a compression shirt, allowed just the right amount of restriction to where I was able to ride! What a life saver!
If you have a shoulder injury where it hurts to lift your arm outward to side and up this is great as it restricts the motion just enough to block some pain but gives you the right amount of range of motion.
I took the the advice of other reviewers and ordered a size larger than I thought I needed, but it's still too small. My chest measures 36" so I'm right on the border of small and medium sizes. I thought going to a medium would work but it's just too small. Also didn't feel like it would provide the support I need as I have a torn labrum. Seems like a well constructed product except for the sizing.
I have gotten this brace and the older model of it for my dad who had a stroke and has a left subliming shoulder due to the stroke. It is very effective at keeping the shoulder in the socket and it is much more comfortable and effective than the medical splints the therapists got him. And it looks sporty and cool too.
I am a physical therapist myself and would recommend this brace for prevention or treatment of a sub-luxing shoulder- it works!
We bought this brace a year ago for our daughter after several shoulder dislocations due to basketball. She was able to play the rest of her season in AAU and softball before having surgery due to the support and stability of this brace. She does wear a compression shirt under the brace for comfort and to prevent chaffing. She has told us numerous times that her shoulder feels more in place while wearing it and it gives her the confidence to play without worry. Due to yet another recent dislocation we purchased a second one just last week because of wear on the old one.
This shoulder brace was amazing and it did a great job in keeping my shoulder in place. But the velcro on the some of the straps came completely off and the rest is beginning to come off. I play football so the constant contact might be the reason. But besides that i would totally recommend this brace.
Due to a shoulder injury I though I would try this brace. Really helped make my shoulder feel more stable. Glad I purchased it.

Question:Q: Can we buy replacement parts for the brace? The velcro part that attaches around the side specifically.Question asked 2 years 3 months agoWe purchased this brace about a year ago for our daughter. She has had several shoulder dislocations and surgery on one of them. It adds excellent stability for her during basketball. Recently the velcro around the midsection has been coming off while she plays. We purchased a new brace already but I would love it if we could replace just that one velcro piece so she could wear the older one during practice and the newer for games.

Question:Q: Will this help hold my arm in the socket?Question asked Over 3 years agoI have osteoarthritis that is bone-on-bone in both shoulders and the joint is loose so my muscles get really sore trying to compensate. Also, I have limited range of motion so is it fairly easy to put on? I ride horses, not bikes and am a woodworker by trade but I was hoping this would help.
Question answered by MotoSportExpertUser's contributor status: MotoSport Staff ExpertQuestion answered Over 3 years agoAnswer: A: The EVS SB03 Shoulder Support Straps hold the shoulder in place while allowing movement and range of motion, adding support. I could not say for certin it would help hold your arm in the socket. That would be question better asked of your doctor. It should help though in my opinion.
