Great value for a set of knee braces for under $300. The low cost does not mean low protection and fit. These braces are adjustable for a great fit and protection. I have ridden with them three times at this point and I love them. The inner pads are held in place with Velcro stick on. My only concern is how well they will stick after some time. However, they do come with additional velcro just in case.
Got these EVS RS9 knee braces a while back it was a good purchase. Half the price of most with same protection. Getcha some.
I'm 5'10'' 183lbs I bought mediums. I sized between med and large, I decided I would rather a tight fit over them being to loose, it was a good choice for me. They feel good. I was a little disappointed with motosport because the set they sent looked like a returned item. They were in the wrong boxes, parts were loose in the box, the stop sets were already converted from the factory sets, there was rub on the knee caps due to all the shipping, and one of the buckles is a little difficult to fasten (like someone forced it). I didn't return it because they said this was their last set.
A little bulky which makes it hard to get my pants over them, could possibly use another strap above the knee but for what I paid I am happy with them
very comfortable with plenty of protection, but the buckles are extremely weak. first ride 1 buckle broke on me with out any strain. now 4 of the 6 buckles have broke. do not waste your money.
This is the first knee brace set i have ever purchased and they seem to be holding up well. I live in Florida though and wearing these anytime other than winter is almost unbearable due to heat. If you go out riding with theses on anytime before 10am in Florida you are slowly dieing. They are comfy and fit well only thing is they are toooo hot in florida. Then again everthing is too hot in Florida. Nice knee brace though.
One of the strap buckles broke my first time wearing them. As soon as I got home I called Motosport and they immediately sent me a new pair, no questions asked. I've worn the new pair several times with no issues or failures.
I'm 5 10 and 200 lbs and don't have huge legs so I initially purchased a medium....I ended up getting a large. These are a great option if you are not willing to fork over 200.00+ per brace. I like the knee stop adjustments that allow you to limit the amount of flex in the knee. I ride track so I stand a lot so I used the 15 degree setting and it's perfect. These feel a little bulky when you put them on however once on the trail/track you wont even know they are there...until you need them. I recommend getting either a leg sleeve or buy something that will be between your leg and these braces to prevent any discomfort. I purchased the EVS leg sleeves with the built in sox and they work perfect. These do not slide down while riding and I feel very protected once I get them set on my leg correctly. I did have to adjust the top 2 buckles on the boots to accommodate the shin guards, but once that was dialed in I was good to go. I recommend these to beginner to intermediate riders, but if you are one of those triple jumpers I would think that a more durable brace would be needed. From what I understand separate parts are not available for these braces so if something breaks I think you would need to improvise or buy a whole new brace. All in all I am very satisfied with these. I have taken a fall in them and I jumped right back up.
