Fantastic brakes

Been riding these since I started riding for Motorsport.com. These brakes are terrific for every condition except super muddy high speed races. I’ve burned threw a brand new set in a single race on 3 occasions.

These really are amazing brakes in any other conditions!

EBC Brakes pads fit and work well. I recommend draining the factory brake fluid and replacing it with EBC Hi Performance Brake Fluid while you are installing brake pads. It is amazing the difference a simple pad and fluid change will make on your stopping power.

Terrible pads

I put these on a supermini I built with an oversized front ebc rotor and new rear rotor. The brakes were terrible from the first ride to the 6th. I put the old worn out pads that I replaced on and the stopping power tripled. I will never buy ebc pads again.

The brand says it all!!!

I installed these brake pads on a 01' cr250 with ease. I have been using EB products for over 2 decades with nothing but great results. NOTE these are not for wet conditions but will work if in a pinch.

Only lasted three rides

I put these pads in right before I went to Hatfield McCoy. It was really muddy there. These pads did bite better than the standard set in my front, but were Totally smoked after three rides and I do not drag my brakes.

Good pads

I replaced my TTR 125 brake pads with these and noticed nice jump in braking performance over the stock pads. Recommended.

Q: How do these handle let's say Washington winter weather?
It did say these are awesome pads for hot dry weather. Mao do these not like water or mud

A: For mud, sand and wet conditions the EBC R Series Sintered Brake Pads are recommended.
The EBC "X" Series brake pads are ideal for hot dry conditions. Feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

A: You shouldn't have a significant problem with these pads in wet muddy weather vs dry. A sintered pad offers more bit on the rotor, so that would be a better bet if you're concerned about performance.
Typically, riders and mechanics elect to use a solid rotor for very muddy rides vs the slotted rotors (stock) to diminish the possibility of contaminants reaching the pad surface and offer more surface area to dissipate the moisture.

A: They should work great. The carbon series should hold regardless of temperature. Within reason. Im possitive that they will perform just as well as any pads out there. I ran mine through the snow, and i felt no difference. hope this helps

A: it has been my experience carbon pads work fine in ice and snow. however the mud will cause them to wear very fast. carbon pads cool very well. so if you splash a creek the first stop may have poor feed back feel.

Q: Will these pads work on a 2001 Honda cr125?

A: If EBC and MotoSport say they fit you should be good to go. If you do not trust the site, you can ask Motosport customer service to verify part numbers for you.
I've used EBC pads on many bikes for many years without fitment problems. Also, your '01 CR125 shares very common calipers (Front & Rear) with many Honda mx models, so you shouldn't have an issue.

A: I would need to know the specific part number you received to tell you if they are correct for your bike or not. As long as you correctly selected your 1991 Kawasaki KX80 as the bike you were shopping for when you ordered the pads they should be correct for your bike. I would say the easiest way for you to tell would be to remove the pads that are on your bike now and compare the brake pad shape to make sure they are the same. Also, alot of EBC pads are coated with red on the backing plate of the pad, the image shown online is for reference only and is likely not displaying the exact brake pads for your bike. If you do need to exchange the pads you received please feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853.

A: Yes, the EBC "X" Series Pads would be made to fit your 2000 Honda CR250R. The pad thickness for the pads for your bike is approximately 10.5mm per pad.
