How old are the tires

Id order tires again, My question is how old are the tires,...What was the date of delivery and how long were they on shelf before ordered by customers? As a reputable company, tires hold be fresh and within 1 to 2 months out from customers ordering tires for their bike!!!

Perfect

Exactly what I wanted, the Harley branded Dunlop white walls for my 883 Iron. Went on beautifully, rides fantastically, look great. This was my first purchase here, and it will certainly not be the last.

Question: I would like wider tires on HD sporters 883- 2005 model
Question asked Over 6 years ago
I would like to replace the orginal tire size with wider (fat) tires on my 2005 Sportster 883C. Also in Suriname-South America we have lots of rain. Will these tires fit : D401 rear 150\80-B16 & front 100\90H-19. Is this what i'am looking for? Please recommend. Regards, RayBen

Answer: It is not recommend to go to wider tires on the same wheels. This can cause adverse handling issues. The tire size you listed would be the stock sizes for this model and they would fit perfectly. The D401 is a good tire and will do well in the wet, and as well when it is dry.

Question answered Over 11 years ago
Answer: the width between the two are the biggest differences. Both are belted tires and both will fit a 16" rim. The load index/speed rating will vary between the sizes.
The 130/90B16 tire has a speed rating of H (excess 130mph+) and a load index 73 (805lbs).
The 150/80B16 tire has a speed rating of H (excess 130mph+) and a load index 71 (761lbs).

Answer: The 150 is 20mm wider than the 130. The second number is the profile. On a 150/80B16 the profile is 80% of the width or about 120mm.
