Best tire ive bought

I bought my goldwing last july and bought new elite 4 tires at 77347 miles. I now have 98324 on this set of tires. Now its time for another set, ive just hit the safety bar. Rode three hundred miles yesterday. Im glad i made it home.

Big Difference!

I recently bought a Goldwing that had brand new Shenko tires on it. Everytime I'd go for a ride and hit a bump or jerk the bars in the least bit, the bike would go into a bad shake or sometimes "death wobble". I noticed the tires had a lot of flex on the side walls and figured this was the reason for the shake. I ordered a new set of Dunlop Elite 4s had them installed, and Poof!, shake gone!. The first thing I noticed about these tires is that they are very solid and heavy duty. No trouble holding a nearly 900lb bike.

Good tire.

The bike had the elite 3’s and they were great. The 4’s have a couple hundred miles on them now and they are great. They ride nice, handle well , and seem to do well in the rain.

Elite 4s-- Awesome

I bought these tires to replace my 4th set of Elite 3s on my Victory Vision. They arrived promptly and in good condition. Mounting them myself was fairly easy, of course the rear involves a bit more muscle. I used "ride on" for tire balancing (10 ounces in front and 14 ounces in rear). A week after mounting them I left for Run For The Wall and put 6057 miles on them over a month. These tires are even better than the Elite 3s. They turn in quite a bit easier ( read leaning is very abrupt at first). I tend to ride slightly aggressive, touching tip overs to the ground once in a while, and they have stood up well so far. I rode thru some standing water and rain without undo excitement, and they are showing very little wear so far. I expect them to go even further than the Elite 3s did, (about 15 to 17,000 miles per set) before I change them out. I am quite satisfied with this purchase.

Q: I have a 2018 softail low rider. the tire sizes 110/90/19 and 180/70 16 going by your size charts for the Elite 4, would result in a bias front tire and a radial rear tire. that's not a good idea is it?

A: It is fine to run a Radial rear with a Bias front. However doing the opposite and running a Radial front and Bias rear is not recommended.

A: The Dunlop Elite 4 Tire Combo is not available with whitewalls, however the the Dunlop American Elite Whitewall Tire Combo is available with whitewalls, at this link: https://www.motosport.com/dunlop-american-elite-whitewall-tire-combo
To help us to find the correct tires for your motorcycle, we would need to know the year, make, and model.
In addition to the Dunlop American Elite Whitewall Tire Combo, Dunlop also offer the D401, D402, D404, and Cruisemax, with whitewalls.
