Reliable Tires

I had just bought my first bike. A Harley 2003 883 100 year anniversary Sportster. I had my bike for about 2 weeks my tires are good. But they seemed hard. I bought my tires but I hadn't put them on yet I was out riding. Hunt's turn the corner down I went. What an experience and not a very good one. I was fine my bike took a little damage which is been fixed. I got my new tires put on my bike. Went up for my first right afterwards. I could tell the difference instantly. The tires felt secure they had a great grip and gave a smooth ride.
Yes I would recommend these tires. The price was really good I felt like for once. I got the deal

BUY THIS TIRE

I have a 95 Kawasaki vulcan 800 and 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500. Both these bikes are more cruising style bikes the 800 is 500 pounds and the 1500 is 800 pounds. They are great tires on both bikes. I'm able to hit the foot pegs on the ground while cornering on both bikes with these tires. Very grippy and comfortable. Both these bikes are 55 to 65 hp so not sure how they are on a sport bike but for cruiser style bikes they have been perfect. Better than other tires I've tired.

Perfect tires for my bike and they came quickly.

I was looking to restore the original performance type tires to this motorcycle and these replacement tires did a great job at improving the handling.

Great tires for the price

Installed the Dunlop D404’s as a set on my 95 Sportster and put about 200 miles on them so far. They’ve been great so far. Hasn’t been long enough to comment on wear yet but I am very happy with the purchase.

Question: Hi sorry if this is a newbie question but I’m new to riding. 1 do these tires require a tube to be put in them or are they tubeless? 2 I have a 1985 Yamaha xj700 Maxim x will these fit good on it?

Question answered 1 month 16 days ago
Answer: The original tires on the 1985 Yamaha XJ700 Maxim are 100/90-19 front and 130/90-16 rear. The original set-up on the '85 Maxim is "tubeless", thanks to the air-tight rims.
The Dunlop D404 Tire Combo is an excellent choice for your '85 Maxim, available as a properly matched set in your correct sizes as recommended by Yamaha. You should use the Dunlop D404 Tire Combo on you Maxim without inner tubes.

Question: I have an 85’ FXR low glide front tire says D401F 100 90/19. Rear D402 MT 90B16. What’s the equivalent current Dunlop models for this?

Question answered 1 month 22 days ago
Answer: Your MT90B-16 is equal to the metric size 130/90-16.
The original tires sizes on the 1985 Harley-Davidson FXRS Low Glide were 100/90-19 front and 130/90-16 rear.
The Dunlop Harley-Davidson D401 Tire Combo is available in your correct sizes at this link:
https://www.motosport.com/dunlop-harley-davidson-d401-tire-combo?mmy=harley;fxrs1;1985&mmy_source=pdp
The Dunlop D404 Tire Combo is also available in your correct sizes. Considering the weight of your FXRS, the D401 are the better recommendation.
