Reliable Tires

I had just bought my first bike. A Harley 2003 883 100 year anniversary Sportster. I had my bike for about 2 weeks my tires are good. But they seemed hard. I bought my tires but I hadn't put them on yet I was out riding. Hunt's turn the corner down I went. What an experience and not a very good one. I was fine my bike took a little damage which is been fixed. I got my new tires put on my bike. Went up for my first right afterwards. I could tell the difference instantly. The tires felt secure they had a great grip and gave a smooth ride.
Yes I would recommend these tires. The price was really good I felt like for once. I got the deal

I have a 95 Kawasaki vulcan 800 and 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500. Both these bikes are more cruising style bikes the 800 is 500 pounds and the 1500 is 800 pounds. They are great tires on both bikes. I'm able to hit the foot pegs on the ground while cornering on both bikes with these tires. Very grippy and comfortable. Both these bikes are 55 to 65 hp so not sure how they are on a sport bike but for cruiser style bikes they have been perfect. Better than other tires I've tired.

Perfect tires for my bike and they came quickly.

I was looking to restore the original performance type tires to this motorcycle and these replacement tires did a great job at improving the handling.

I've bought Dunlap tires more than once and I've been happy with him each time. The price is always right with motorsport.

Great tires for the price

Installed the Dunlop D404’s as a set on my 95 Sportster and put about 200 miles on them so far. They’ve been great so far. Hasn’t been long enough to comment on wear yet but I am very happy with the purchase.

A: This is a front tire only. Your OEM front tire size is 130/90-16 so that would be the size I recommend purchasing.

A: The 404 is bias ply tire commonly needed to support the weight of a heavier cruiser. Many Harley Davidsons call for a 402 in the front and 404 in the rear.

Q: I have a 1996 1200 sportster, my husband wants to know the difference between the 404 And the 401, omg!! Obviously the price.  but it currently has the 402 90-21 on the front and the 401 130/90 16 on the rear.

A: The 404 is not rated for your machine so don't put that on there! The 401 is a cruising tire and the 402 is a touring tire. The difference is in compound and tread primarily. Harley recommends a 402 in the front and a 401 in the rear OR Dunlop American Elites all around.

Front: Dunlop Elite 4 130/90B16
Rear: Dunlop Elite 4 150/90B15
