Bike never rode this smooth since I bought it new
This tire has been installed on my Kingpin for about 1000 miles now, and has seen wet, dry, hot and cold conditions. It seems to stick pretty well in all of those. It was a replacement for D417 (which i really really liked), and seems to fit the bill. Im not sure how it will wear, but so far, so good
Awesome price...great ride
Purchased both the front and rear tire for my Harley Street Glide and installed them myself. Installation was fairly easy. (As mounting and balancing tires go) My wife and I went on a 2300 mile road trip just a few days later and the tires were great. We rode on every road condition possible from dry pavement and concrete to wet roads as well as dirt and gravel from road construction. I really like the feel of these tires in the turns. Still have several miles to go to see how many miles I can get out of them but so far they seem to be very good tire as well as made in the USA.
Been putting on bike since originals wore out. Tried 1 set of 2 other brands that didn't wear as well. Limited to tires now as I've been running a 21'' instead of 16" tire on front for last 50,000 miles. Just turned over 104,000 miles on my bike.
Pleased with the quality of this tire.
Bought this GREAT AMERICAN made tire....... just from the wrong company.
I have been using these tires for years, its the only tire I will ever buy. Great handling and never had an issue.
Many miles, excellent handling, good price, and service was exceptional.

Question:Q: The current tire on my 2011 Harley Ultra Limited is a radial. Are these tires radial or biasQuestion asked 25 days ago
Question answered by PaulUser's contributor status: Top 1Question answered 25 days agoAnswer: A: To help us to get to the right answers, we would need to know the full model description of your motorcycle.
I'm guessing that your 2011 Ultra Limited might be the Electra Glide Ultra Ltd FLHTK.
Please tell us if your bike might be the Road Glide Ultra FLTRU.
The correct tire sizes for the 2011 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Limited FLHTK are:
Front Tire: 130/80-17 Bias Ply
Rear Tire: 180/65-16 Bias Ply
Dunlop recommends the Bias Ply American Elite Tire Combo as being correct for the 2011 FLHTK. Dunlop does not make American Elite Tires in these sizes in Radials. Dunlop does not recommend Radial tires to have the proper load rating for the FLHTK. Radial tires are more common on light weight sport bikes and on very few high-performance V-Twin Cruisers.

Question:Q: Whats the biggest(widest) i can put on my 06 street bob i currently am running an american elite 160/70 b17 with no mods?Question asked 2 months 12 days ago
Question answered by PaulUser's contributor status: Top 1Question answered 2 months 12 days agoAnswer: A: The correct tire sizes on the 2006 Harley-Davidson FXDBI Dyna Street Bob are:
Front Tire: 100/90-19
Rear Tire: 160/70-17
These are the sizes which Harley-Davidson compared, tested and determined to perform the best for most riders in most conditions.
Wider tires offer better stability at high speeds in a straight line. Many drag-racers change to wider tires. Wider tires resist leaning and require more effort to lean into turns.
You will have to measure the clearances of your fender, swingarm, and drive belt to determine how much space you have for the widest tire.
