Ease of Installation5/5Performance5/5Style5/5
DOES THE JOB!

The stock DR-Z400S front brakes are really wimpy when street riding. This kit solves that problem. The bike stops with authority now. I have only put 130 miles on it so far, so I can't speak to the durability yet.

Great purchase!

It only took me about 30 minutes to install, it looks great, feels great, i'm glad I went with the oversized rotor as my front brake felt weak prior to installing this one. I would recommend this rotor!

Good product

Product is and performs as advertised, improves stopping performance on the bikes installed, 2010 and 2012 YZ450F, which are known to have average front brake performance. This rotor increases stopping performance and lever feet to very good.

Driven 270mm rotor

Put on 09' YZ250 and 07' CRF250R. Has provided better stopping power on both bikes. 1 finger braking with less effort. Plus way cheaper than brand name options.

WOW

What a difference in stopping power over stock. Well worth every penny. If you are replacing your warped thinning rotor or changing pads definitely install this 270mm rotor. Installation was cake. Easier changing this rotor and installing the caliper bracket than a car. WIN.

Aftermartket brakes

broke my old disc and mount and this fit my needs well, certainly better than stock but not as touchy as i expected and have felt in other bikes with aftermarket brakes. my old brake never locked up my front tire and this one just barely does it. works perfect for me in the woods when racing down hills i dont have to worry about locking up the tire. i race woods, id say good product

A: You will have to transfer your caliper slide pin and the metal pad retainer over to the new Driven caliper bracket.

Q: Oversize rotor kit for 2003 CR 250
Can you tell me what changed on the CR front brakes from 03 to 04 that makes this kit not work on the 03. Thanks for your help

A: The entire brake caliper is different on the 2003 and 2004 Honda CR250R. Unfortunately, The bracket that spaces the caliper out to fit the oversized rotor does not fit the 2003 Honda CR250R front brake caliper.

A: No. You would not need anything else to install this. It includes the caliper spacer bracket and bolt directly up to your bike.

Q: Is it easy to install the bracket on an 06 Honda CR250 2 stroke?
Also, will the stock pads work with this set up, and will there be any other parts needed?

A: Yes, installation is fairly straight forward and pretty simple to install onto the bike. Basically, the rotor comes with a relocation bracket to move the caliper out far enough to clear the clear. Stock brake pads will work great and you don't need any other hardware.

Q: How do you install the bracket?

How do you install the bracket. I don't know if possibly I got sent the wrong bracket but it just does not line up to the caliper.

A: If you have a Honda, it can be confusing. but since I don't know what kind of bike your mounting this on, I don't know.
