This same chain on my other Triumph doing great at over 40,000 miles.
Bought this specific chain because it was listed as having a clip style master link. Came with a rivet style and had to buy a new master link so I could install it
Fast shipping, awesome products and good price.
I recently purchased a different chain that snapped and caused damage on my gsxr 1000. Bought this chain and repaired some damage and so far the chain has held on well.
Of course the DID chain is a marvel of precision. You couldn't ask for a better piece of equipment. But having to cut it just creates the opportunity for me to cut off too much, as I can commit such acts of stupidity on occasion. After counting the links several hundred times, I succeeded. Now I have a little piece of chaln left over. Its greasy.
Great product , but trying to find out how many links I need for an evo softail with a 23 tooth front sprocket, and 49 tooth rear, NOT the belt spec 32 front PULLEY, and 65 rear Pulley they have listed in the specs has been frustrating time consuming , and detracting from this rebuild I am doing. I sit here doing this listening to bikes ride on by which ia what I am trying to do.
Purachased this chain along with some JT steel sprockets a couple weeks ago for my '97 Suzuki Bandit 1200. The chain looks great and after 1000 miles seems to be working great. Of course the true test till be in another 15000 miles or so.
Only downfall was I decided to change the sprockets and chain myself and it only came with a rivet master link so I needed to purchase a rivet tool kit to put on. (Wish it came with both so I could have installed clip link and rode to a shop and have them put on the rivet link.) But was still cheaper this way than going to any of the local stores and having them install everything.
I bought this chain in a chain & sprockets package. First DID chain for me. I've put 1,200 miles on it. Have made three chain adjustments due to stretching. I think its slowing down. Unable to comment on x-ring better then o-ring at this time. Quality of side plates, rivits and rollers. All look to be of high quality. Factory DID grease very hard to remove from plastics or anything it gets on. So, remove as much excess as possible before riding. Great price to quaity.
