Cool stuff

Put this around my slip on to keep things a little cooler next to my air box. Works great, so I’m putting it on the rest of the pipe.

I have used a few brands of exhaust wrap and this is the best. The "V-power" Harley brand is hard to get a tight fit. DEI makes it easy, tight and clean finish. Be sure to get the metal straps as well. The wrap will smoke a lot for the break-in.

DEI Wrap

Good stuff. I lost a shield on the power curve of my bassani system and used the wrap for that section. The first time you ride after you wrap the pipes it will smoke a bit but don't worry it's all good. After the wrap is broken in with heat, no more smoke and the wrap looks great on the header.

Controls heat

cuts down the heat going up the tail of the bike.

Will likely need 2-3 roles to complete the entire exhaust system that runs under the tail.

Only had about a foot left after the mid pipe was finished.

overall great product

It works

The 1in wrap is much more manageable. It's keeping my plastic from melting so far

Say I'm washing my bike and there's loads of mud on it, Can I just hose it down and scrub it like a normal exhaust? And will the water and mud damage it?
