Good Product

A little thinner that I thought; however, the Cool-Tape seems to be doing it's job as advertised. I put it inside a cheap, faux Carbon Fiber end-cap, and so far, so good.

Heat tape

The tape is really too narrow to be very useful. But if I had read the description carefully I guess I would have seen that.....I am sure it is a great product, but because it is so narrow, I will probably never use it.

Works great

Great product, I used it for the bottom of my IMS gas tank and radiators to reduce heat transferred from the motor. It sticks very well and is easy to work with just use your fingers or round tool to work it into the creases or grooves.

Not much to say, other than it does what its supposed to do, i put fresh graphics and plastics on, and havent experienced any melting, so i guess its working.

Works Great...

Bought this tape to wrap around rubber radiator hoses I'm using to snorkel my ATV. The hoses run up against the engine and right above the exhaust header. The tape definitely keeps the heat away from the hoses in an application that even a small pinhole melt through would be bad news.

Only negative is that the tape is somewhat delicate in that it does tear kind of easy but if you protect it you should have no problems.

Recommended!

Put this product around your quarter panel where your pipe is and you wont experience melted plastics! Also around the bottom of your airbox! You wont be dissapointed!

Answer: Unfortunately this cannot be installed directly on the exhaust. it is design to be installed with reflective side out on items located near the exhaust to protect them from the exhaust heat. If the adhesive side is installed on the exhaust it would melt and not say attached.

Answer: I wouldn't use this on your head pipe. If you want to wrap your header use the DEI Exhaust wrap.
