Kind of cheap looking and flimsy. Expected better from Cycra.
These guards are fairly simple to install. The only thing I didn't like is the stickers are put on at the factory and I haven't been able to remove them for my color scheme. I did install them on an 83 Honda 200X and an 85 Honda 200X. To mount them on a 200x, the mount goes under the handle bars and uses the bottom holes on the guard, They fit nicely this way and look good to.
I've ridden with these Cycra guards on rocky or muddy tracks or for the occasional trail ride for the past few months and they've held up well. The offer good protection, are very easy to install and very adjustable (have worked on 3 different bikes with various clutch/brake perches and bars).
It's been a while since I've run hand guards, so I was a little sceptical. That didn't last long! These babies mounted up in no time. The fit and shield placement was spot on. NO interference with control operation at all. My fingers and knuckles are thanking me!
they of course will break in most crashes... but thats not what they are for. from branches to baseball-sized boulders at 100+ speeds, mine have held up quite nicely... i've had to str8n the mounts a few times... but they havn't broke yet...
4 years strong!
Slammed on a fifteen foot double keep my fingers for getting broke! Great purchase
Fits nicely, pretty solid when mounted, won't protect from a fall of course, but keeps the roost off your hands.
