These are really just meant for blocking debris off the back tire. Definitely not a bark Buster. The vented section it’s not the strongest, but the composite arms are very tough. On a couple of crashes, if they would’ve been alloy, they would’ve been toast. Only once have I had to replace one of the arms. The rest of the time they bent right back. If you rarely crash, then these are the guards for you. And at $35, it’s not a bank breaker to replace them.

I ordered the vented hand guards but actually got the non-vented ones. I emailed Motosport about it but got no response. I decided to keep them and when I went to put then on I found out they have an extra M5 washer and were missing a M5 nut so I had to go to the hardware store to get another nut. Other than that they are kind of cheap but work good and you can position them were they need to go.
better looking than durable. block roost from 450's better than any other hand gurad ive tested with. one bad crash and the mounts are wrecked. ive gone through so many mounts. the handguards look great but bend easily, i still recomend them though.
Looks great! Mounted up a little hard on my big Pro Tapers. The vented plastic cracks on any impact. Crashed in sand whoops and you guessed it....they are now trash!

Question:Q: Where can I buy replacement clamps for these?Question asked Over 5 years ago
Question answered by MotoSportRyanTUser's contributor status: Expert MotoSport StaffQuestion answered Over 5 years agoAnswer: A: Unfortunately, we actually do not stock the replacement mount for the Cycra M2 Handguards. They are available through one of our vendors and we would likely be able to special order them for you if you needed them. Feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

Question:Q: Do these handguards work with asv unbreakable levers?Question asked Over 6 years agoAre the levers able to bend back with the handguards on?
Question answered by MotoSportExpertUser's contributor status: MotoSport StaffQuestion answered Over 6 years agoAnswer: A: Yes, you can use these with ASV levers. Since these fold out also, they travel the same path as the ASV levers do. The ASV's will fold farther than these do though, so at a point it would limit the full travel of the lever depending on how high you position them on the handlebars. They should still fold far enough out of the way during a crash to prevent damage though.

Question:Q: What size handlebars do these fit on? will they work on my twinwalls?Question asked Over 11 years ago
Question answered by DrewKlannUser's contributor status: Expert MotoSport StaffQuestion answered Over 11 years agoAnswer: A: These come with a 7/8th clamp to mount them and most bars taper down to a 7/8th where these mount so they should fit pretty much every bar.
