Stylmartin Oxford Boots

Terry - San Diego Love’em "Have about 1500 miles on these boots mainly because of commutes to work, ride to Palomar Observatory, and recent trip from San Diego, CA to Sedona, AZ and back. Love them! Weather during this time (Early October) ranged from 40 to 92 degrees F. Speeds up to 75mph. I’m 6’2” and 195lbs. Have high arch on feet. Size typically US 11-12, though 13 in some brands sometimes for winter boots with heavy socks worn. Got the 46 based on reviews. Felt very comfortable on first day with thin socks. Very thick socks, the same. Both layered, a little tight, both didn’t constrict blood flow. I can imagine concern of them coming off if loose in an accident, so considered size 45, but based on perfect fit with thick socks or two pairs, decided to keep these. Though they may stretch and I’ll change my mind and try 45s, I’d keep these anyways for comfort in colder weather. Added some mink oil before long trip since rain was forecasted. Rain dumped through Jerome Arizona twisty highway turns for 90 minutes. Feet stayed dry. Slipped once at a stop, but foot was on wet painted crosswalk. Wore them the whole 4 day trip and sweat always dried quickly overnight in hotel. Loved the easy zip as opposed to my laced military boots and having to tuck in the laces. My wife, a bit younger, didn’t seem to like the look and was too polite to comment, other than “Glad you are happy.” My 12 year old son said “They look like girls boots.” Lol. I said,”Someday you be begging me to pass them down to you.” Well generation gaps aside, others really liked them and I think they have an incredible look! Very classic, unbelievably comfortable (and this from someone who struggles with boots which typically hurt due to high arch and bone that projects high on top of foot), wore them riding for up to 13 hours straight , to nice dinner, to cowboy bar, everywhere...only brought a pair of flip flops as other footwear. Personally, I felt they fit in everywhere and I loved being seen in them. The images that shows them looking lighter was probably taken that way to emphasize the patina look, which is there and visible in certain outdoor or indoor lighting situations, but they are overall more black from a distance. I don’t think either set of images you see on the internet, where they look really black, or the ones that make them look really grey, are quite accurate. Just think relatively black with really cool subtle highlights that are more visible in certain lighting. And I’d bet the “worn” areas vary so that each pair is somewhat unique. Personally, I’d recommend them to anyone. In terms of safety for riding, they are leather boots, no steel toe, from what I can tell. If you want CE2, you’ll be looking for those ski boot looking ones and these aren’t for you. If you want some very comfortable, stylish, riding boots that are multipurpose, these are for you."

Stylmartin Chester Riding Shoes

Sexy Bald Guy - Annapolis, Md. Great Shoes "I've had the shoes for about a month, and love them! Very comfortable, and stylish. They feel well made, and I'm very happy with my purchase. I hesitated at first, because they are a bit pricey. I've never paid this much for any shoe, but would not hesitate to buy another pair."
