Dainese Rain Suit Dainese Rain Suit Mark - Spring Branch, TX Not worth the cost "I replaced my old Bilt rain suit with this Dainese rain suit for a recent 5 day, 3200 mile street bike trip from South TX to Sturgis SD and back. I got both the L and XL to see which fit. I'm 6-1, 180 lbs and the large fit my body, but was way too small in the legs. The XL fit my the legs an easily went over my Alpinestar perf leather jacket so I went with it. I rode many hours and several hundred miles in the rain and I was really wet when I was done. I bought this suit because it has velcro on the wrists, but the suit still leaks air somewhere and puffs up like the Michelin Man. Water leaked in at the bottom of the body zipper and my right leg got really wet. I do like the long zippers on the legs which made it easy to put on while standing on the side of the highway without taking off my boots, and the lower leg Velcro sealed against my Alpinestar SMXs pretty well and the legs didn't flap at all, but the arms and body flapped like a flag in a hurricane - even with my leather jacket on. I also like the blueish color, but that's preference thing. I really missed having an external pocket on the left leg for a microfiber cloth for wiping my face shield in the rain. For 160 bucks I expected high-end features and to be bone dry - but I was pretty wet. The $50 cheap-o Bilt suit worked just as well."
