After having my trx 450r motor and transmission rebuilt for racing I wanted to add a second level of protection and prevention. The plug fits well and catch'es any foreign metal patticales
Looks like the stock 12mm x 1.5 drain bolt is right around .010” smaller diameter than this magnetic drain bolt. It wants to start but I won’t force it. Wish it fit I really want a magnetic drain bolt on this pit / camp bike.
On box it says 12mm X 1.5 mm steel...Doesn't fit the drain hole and its a 17mm not 12mm to remove or tighten...not even close...cost 10 bucks and to return 7 bucks......smh, 1st time I have had an issue with something I've purchased from motosport...
Doesnt even fit and its a 17 mm why ? Magnet works good though for fishing out my tusk drainplug if i drop it in the drained oil.
Just installed on my 2009 R1. It fit good, not much to say. It’s a drain bolt!
Did not fit....not even close
The plug worked well .
tight fit on my 2006 rmz250
I always hand thread first few to make sure not cross threading an important hole on engine. It doesn't even start. Threads look ok on drain plug. Not worth the risk to try and force. The OEM plug is fine I just wanted the magnetic one for the common crank bearing problem.
