i bought this drain pan because of its capacity. i have a bike which holds 5.5 quarts of oil. once the drain pan is full of old oil it can be picked up/ moved without fear of spilling any oil. the spout works great for disposing of oil oil aswel. perfect for a bike diy mechanic.
Bought this to replace an older pan of a different style that had begun to leak. Really like this open face design for catching hot oil from my Suburban. The tip to drain design worked great for pouring into my recycle container without spilling. Best overall design I've owned.
Does the job. Easy to use
It's inexpensive and light and doesn't have holes in it. You can't ask much more from an oil pan. My one gripe is that the drain spigot is a little high on the wall of the pan. Combined with the downward angle at the end it makes it a little hard to empty every last drop of fluid from the pan.
I actually enjoy cleaning my air filter. I through it in this tub, I poor gas all over it, I wear synthetic surgery gloves, and I poor out into a sealed container for an excavation company to dispose of. Wam bam
