I was paying for the cheaper sprockets and chain and overall was disappointed.I seemed to keep tighting the chain after every 50 miles. It's true, you pay for what you get and now I got a big weight off of me now that I got a good chain and sprocket set.
Came with everything necessary (besides tools) to put together. Bike runs so much more smooth. The new chain provides more power compared to a very old chain. Note the old chain had at least 10k miles and needed to be replaced.
The chain is awsum but i got a yellow and id figure the master link would be yellow so id say 5 stars if u had the master link in color of chain
needed new chain this one had great reviews. Don't believe the at your door by date there always later than they say. also they say to your door but they use usps and I have to drive 15 miles to pu at post office because i dont get mail delivery.
I have purchased this claim before and have come back for my second. A little long for a 2009 Ninja 650r, but with a chainbreaker you can make up the difference. Overall this is a great chain. Comes with 2 connecting options, snap link and rivet link. Both of these options include extra x-rings and grease. Installation is pretty straightforward.
Even if you don’t want a bright color, id recommend because the powder coating keeps the rust off really well. After a rain you’ll notice that only the uncolored parts react, and the colored parts look unphased.
So I order the chain that the web site said would fit my machine. I was very disappointed when it arrived and did not. However the ordering was easy. It got here fast and the return was easy. I will continue to order parts.
The master link was missing out of the box.
About these about a month ago and I’m glad that I did
Color looks good
Preforms like a chain should
Comes with clip master link and a press fit one.
Only had on for a week but it has the highest tensile strength of any chain I’ve owned yet so I don’t see any issues coming up with durability in the future.
As with any heavy duty chain just don’t get an aluminum sprocket or it defeats the purpose of a heavy duty chain. So far no regrets and worth the extra money
