Big Gun gets it; sometimes a boot or even your leg might get burnt on the exhaust. To help avoid that, they designed their Universal Heat Shield. It can fit most exhaust systems and offers some protection for those who want a barrier from the hot exhaust. Two adjustable hose clamps are provided to secure it around the head pipe and/or mid pipe.
- Dimensions: 7-3/4" x 1-1/2" (Mini) / 8-3/4" x 1-3/4" (Large).
- Stainless steel pre-drilled heat shield.
- Two (2) adjustable hose clamps.
- Two (2) aluminum mounting brackets.
- Two (2) button head mounting screws.
Notes:
- The Mini size is generally used for mini ATV's or smaller off-road motorcycles (50 - 150cc), and the Large size is generally used for ATV's or standard sized off-road motorcycles, if either has exposed pipes that route near your leg.
- For proper fitment, the desired install location should be at least six (6) inches (for Mini), or seven (7) inches (for Large), of straight pipe.
