Installed on a 2012 YZ250 to ride trails in the rugged Montana backcountry. Through the wet/slippery spring to the dusty summer and even snow, this tire exceeded expectations. It lasted nearly a whole summer of hard riding without even starting to chunk out. Will definitely buy more of these!
I bought this tire about a month ago, installed it and took her for a spin. First ride the bead ripped and blew out the side wall of the tire causing the side knobs to tear off on my swing arm and hit my rear brake line. Maybe rode the tire for 10 minutes and had nothing but problems. The tire is too soft to even stay on the rim. Running it at 19psi i was riding down a fairly smooth fire road when the tire blew off the rim. I will never by an Artrax product again. Stick to the known good name brands and dont waste your money on Artrax tires. These "cheap tires" have now cost me 5 times the original purchase price due to repairs on the bike and a new set of rubber. Bike has been sitting through the best part of the season, Thanks Artrax.
Bought the tire not expecting much, seem to be good only taken the bike out once since the tires were put on. The original tire that I ordered was HEAVILY cut on the sidewalls. CHECK THE PRODUCT BEFORE MOUNTING Contacted Motorsport with pictures and told me to keep this tire and sending out a new one free of charge. Customer service seems good. I’ll update once the new tire arrives.
these tires are sooooo soft - there was significant visible wear after a 2 mile loop around my neighborhood
I like how much traction I got on the rocks but it didn’t last long enough in the normal dirt/rock terrain. The tire is too soft I got a flat from thorns when I was making trail.
Rode this tire in pa single track on a snowy day. This tire is very soft ,hooks up great in wet rocky rooty conditions, would benefit being run with a big. I only have 1 ride on it and I run tubliss and the tire had some big slices in it, so I don't think it will last long but it works very well everywhere.
KTM 250 SXF used in east coast harescramble conditions. Only a couple rides on it, but very impressed so far. It appears to have a softer compound than the shinko or other hybrid options... actually, I was worried it would be too soft at the knobs and sidewall, but no issues and still have sharp knobs after about 5 hours of racing. I went with the 100 rather than the 110, but it is a narrow tire! Still trying to weigh if it helps or hurts. Other than looking like a front tire mounted on the rear, it actually seemed to help navigate ruts, and didn't suffer at all in traction. This is one of the few gummy tires I have used that still works in muddy conditions... I would buy this tire again after using it.
too soft and will not last long. I will go back to the Shenco Cheeter
I have one 10 mile ride on this rear tire. It does a awesome job. Rocks, roots and granite slabs the tire performed! Don’t think it’s going to last long, but it’s going to be fun while it does
