Overall Good

Expensive for what it is. No directions or example pictures. Took a few minutes to figure out how to mount the straps correctly .

Fits new and old bionic braces.

The old style has 3 mounting points and this strap has 4 tethers. It will work with the older style if you run both rear straps to the middle. It's not ideal but it works.

Neck Support A-Strap

Perfect for Alpinestars neck brace. Would ride up and make it difficult to lookdown. (Not good while in jumps!) Now my brace is kept tight to my chest and head movement is no problem.

Worth every penny in my opinion

I use this setup & It sits over/under my Thor chest protector although the 2 work well together it can move around & get uncomfortable when using the 2 straps it comes with so the harness is my solution but I'ma smaller guy so idk how well a bigger person can do using the same equipment.. I think it wld wrk as well or possibly better but dnt go by my assumption ask around or find someone with this setup and try it 1st

Its ok

I don't like the Bionic brace anyway but if you have one then you need this strap setup it works very well it's just kind of a pain to take on and off

Not sturdy

This lasted about 3 races, then the button came off the strap, works well when the equipment does not fail.....

Must Have

This strap should have been provided with the brace, but I'm glad it is offered in general. It really secures the brace and is comfortable. It doesn't come with instructions so look at the first pages of the book supplied with the brace.

A strap good buy

the a-strap system was a good buy. Pricey, has alot of adjustment and holds the neck support in place. First ride i forgot i even had it on. i think its way better than the xstrap. seems like the strap will be durable the snap on buttons may wear out though. I wear a front and back roost guard to help protect the straps, which i wear over my jersey. i think the astrap is 100% better than the xstrap

Not what I expected

I was one of those customers that when I bought my brace was a little dissapointed that it did not come with the A-strap. After using the X-strap and then purchasing the A-strap, it did not hold the brace how I thought it should have and was less comfortable than the X-strap. I can see why lots of people use it, however I did not like it.

Does this A strap fit to a Normal Bionic neck support? Not the Bionic neck Support SB. I don't know where it would attach to it if so.

A: The A-Strap is for the Alpinestars Bionic Neck Support SB only. A support strap is included with the new 2014 Alpinestars neck supports which is the X-Strap you can find here: http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/ALPINESTARS-BIONIC-NECK-SUPPORT-XSTRAP

A: Sorry, I don't know. My Alpinestars Bionic Neck brace has attachment points for the strap. May possibly have other options. Try contacting Alpinestars customer service. I bet they can help.
