I have a race kx100 being turned into a practice bike and it needs a kick stand. PMB kickstands are the best out there. I’m writing this review because of the customer service. The kickstand came with a missing mount which happens every once in a while when you order kits. I called motosport and they don’t carry extra parts which is what I figured but instead of giving up or having to buy a whole new kit, they directed me to Pro Moto Billet. They have excellent customer service as well. In 2 days I had the new mount at no cost.
Great product and great companies that back the product.
I wish I would have had this kick stand years ago and not been using the old metal triangle to hold up my bike. The kick stand looks great and functions great. It just bolts on, very easy. It shipped to my house very quickly.
Awesome product. Mounts easily to stock hardware, tucks under side plate and supports the bike at a perfect angle. No more looking for trees or sticks to hold the bike up on the trail. 2002 KTM 250SX
Nice quality compliment to my bike. Love not having to find a tree or something to lean my bike against when the stand is not handy.
Took me 5 min to install, and works great. For trail riding, this is a must. It looks way cooler than a stock stand too, and love how it tucks up under the body.
Stop your search! Forget about price! You will be very satisfied with the quality! I purchased one for my sons CRF150RB and one for my RMZ450 and couldn't be happier. Only one small fitment issue arose with the RMZ hole alignment but it was easily corrected with a circular file in less than 5 minutes! Throw your triangle stand away!
3rd kickstand from pro-moto. Some bikes they mount to well others you have to be very careful how you put it up and and gentle when you put it down. This last one I mounted to a YZ125. Thread lock was used as suggested. Within the first few hours I checked the two bolts. One was loose. That was locked down again and a few hours later the bottom bolt was gone, along with the washer, nut and chain roller. I had no idea of the size of bolts so sent Pro-moto two e-mails and asked for sizing of bolts and could I get the same ones for re-mount. They sent email back and gave me the size and told me to go to a hardware store. I figured they would have said, sure what's your address. I would have paid for them.
It bolted up good to my 2000 yz 125
It could be a little shorter but it still works
The PMB stand is be well built and easy to mount with the applied hardware. It tucks up nicely just behind the number plate when up, and has a nice, solid locking feel to it when down. It does keep the bike very upright, so bikes that have been lowered at all may have tipping issues. The price is very high for what you get IMO, but the convenience of having a stand on the trail almost make up for it.
Why didnt they make this from the factory??WHAT A NICE PIECE!
