The 2013 Beta 350 RS SM refines the mid-displacement supermoto with improved fueling and detail updates in its second production year. The 349cc liquid-cooled DOHC four-valve single with electronic fuel injection and six-speed gearbox pairs with the steel frame, supermoto-tuned suspension, 17-inch wheels, and sticky road tires. The improved fueling sharpens the throttle response that supermoto riders depend on for precise corner-exit acceleration. The 350’s broad powerband makes it an effective supermoto platform — strong enough to accelerate hard on pavement straights, manageable enough to control through tight dirt sections.

Dry vs. Wet Torque

Oil drain plug: always wet; reduce 15–20% with sealant. All other values assume dry threads.

Supermoto Brake & Axle Discipline

Supermoto riding generates the most aggressive braking forces of any Beta application. Deep corner entry under maximum braking loads the front caliper mounting bolts and disc bolts with forces that exceed anything encountered in enduro, motocross, or road-sport use. The 10 Nm disc bolt spec must be verified after each track session. The front axle nut at 50 Nm keeps the wheel secure under the violent weight transfers that define supermoto cornering. Organized post-session brake and axle verification is the foundation of supermoto safety.

Thread Locker Usage

Medium-strength (blue) thread locker for the 2013 Beta 350 RS SM:

  • Rear sprocket nuts
  • All disc bolts
  • Linkage bolts
  • Subframe bolts
  • Exhaust header bolts

Torque Wrench Selection

A 3/8-inch drive click-type for 20–100 Nm and a 1/4-inch drive for 10–12 Nm hardware. Two drive sizes for the refined 350cc supermoto.
