Shop parts for a 1992 Honda CR125 Dirt Bike.
The 1992 Honda CR125 continues the CR series with refinements to the 125cc two-stroke powerplant and updated chassis details. By the early 1990s, the CR125 had become a well-sorted production MX machine, and the 1992 model is appreciated in both vintage MX competition and as a recreational machine. The torque specifications for the 1992 CR125 reflect the mid-era development of the platform with larger, more robust fasteners than the early Elsinore models.

Power Valve System Notes
The 1992 CR125 uses Honda’s power valve (HPP) system in the exhaust port. The power valve assembly requires periodic cleaning to prevent carbon buildup that causes sticking and power delivery issues. When servicing the power valve, check the governor spring and all cover fasteners. Power valve cover bolts are small-diameter hardware threading into aluminium—torque these lightly and carefully to avoid stripping. Replace the cover gasket at each service to prevent exhaust leaks.
