Step 4 – Reinstallation

  • Check the filter sealing surface; apply a thin coating of filter grease to the outer sealing ring for a dust-proof connection.
  • Position the filter and cage assembly and secure with the wing nut. Double-check for a snug fit all the way around.
  • Reinstall the seat and hardware securely.
