The 2023 Beta 350 RR returns after a multi-year hiatus, now built on the latest chrome-moly steel frame with updated geometry, revised suspension mounting, and modern ergonomics. The 349cc liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder four-stroke with four valves, electronic fuel injection, and six-speed gearbox has been updated with improved fueling, a refined intake tract, and updated exhaust. The KYB 48mm fork and Sachs rear shock feature current-generation valving. This is effectively a new motorcycle that shares its displacement with the earlier 350 RR models but little else — the frame, suspension interface, and engine calibration are all new-generation components. Every torque value applies to the new structure.

Dry vs. Wet Torque
Oil drain plug: always wet threads; reduce 15–20% with sealant. All other values assume dry threads.
New Platform, Proven Principles
The 2023 350 RR is fundamentally new from the frame out. Engine mount locations, suspension geometry, and subframe attachment are all redesigned. During the first season, verify chassis torque values more frequently to establish confidence in the new structure. The four-stroke engine’s torque requirements haven’t changed — head bolts, valve cover, oil drain, and cam hardware all demand the same precision as the earlier platform. The new chassis simply distributes forces differently.
Thread Locker Application
Medium-strength (blue) thread locker for the 2023 Beta 350 RR:
- Rear sprocket nuts
- All disc bolts
- Linkage bolts
- Subframe bolts
- Exhaust header bolts
- Skid plate bolts
Torque Wrench Selection
A 3/8-inch drive click-type for 20–100 Nm and a 1/4-inch drive for 10–12 Nm valve cover and cam hardware. Two drive sizes for the new-generation 350cc four-stroke platform.
