The 2015 Beta 350 RR continues to develop the mid-displacement four-stroke enduro with refined fueling maps and detail improvements. The 349cc liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder with four valves, electronic fuel injection, and six-speed gearbox now has three years of production refinement behind it. The steel perimeter frame, KYB 48mm fork, and Sachs rear shock provide the chassis. The 350’s balanced character — lighter than the 450 while offering substantially more power than the 250 — makes it an increasingly popular choice for riders who want four-stroke reliability with manageable weight and power. That balance is maintained through precise, consistent torque across every system.

Dry vs. Wet Torque
Oil drain plug threads are always wet. Reduce 15–20% when sealant is applied. All other values assume dry threads unless compound is used.
Four-Stroke Valve Service & Torque
Valve clearance checks are a routine four-stroke maintenance item. Each inspection requires removing and reinstalling the valve cover bolts — 10 Nm in aluminum threads. Over years and multiple services, these threads can wear. Use a 1/4-inch drive torque wrench for these fasteners, not a standard ratchet with estimated feel. The cam sprocket bolts at 12 Nm are critical for valve timing; verify after any cam chain service or timing adjustment. The 350’s broad powerband makes it forgiving on the trail, but the engine demands precision in the workshop.
Thread Locker Recommendations
Medium-strength (blue) thread locker for the 2015 Beta 350 RR:
- Rear sprocket nuts
- All disc bolts
- Linkage bolts
- Subframe bolts
- Exhaust header bolts
- Skid plate bolts
Torque Wrench Selection
A 3/8-inch drive click-type for 20–100 Nm and a 1/4-inch drive for 10–12 Nm valve cover and cam hardware. Two drive sizes for the refined 350cc four-stroke enduro.
