Works great in my r1

Bought one of these last year for my 09 r1. Let it charge over night then put it in the bike. Runs flawlessly. Did have to get a new battery tender cause my old one for not work on lithium batteries

Save your money

i went through 3 of these in a month in my raptor 700 and gave up on this company. they do not hold the power to turn over a 700 easily and in my opinion the extra 5 pounds of a lead acid battery is worth not getting stranded.

Garbage !!!!!

Came in with 0.00 volts. Will not take a charge. And for $107.99 I’m really hoping Motosport will take it back and refund me the money.

Poor customer service

Bought this two weeks ago. When it arrived I knew there was a problem. When fully charged it did not work. Called Motorsport they told me to call the manufacturer. Called the manufacturer, they told me to call Motorsport. So I have a $152 battery that does not work and a bike just sitting waiting to be ridden. Not happy with the battery or this experience.

Light weight and small

Early to tell how it holds up over time, starts the bike easily.

Too small of a battery for this bike

I bought this battery because this website recomended it as the right one for my bike, however it barely cranks over with it and runs out of juice in a second. I asked them if I returned it and paid the diffrence if I could get a bigger one and they said no. Don't buy this battery

Didn't fit as specified

Bought for a 2005 Yamaha FJR, actual battery yt14 is 2.75" wide. This battery, in the 240CA size or whatever they listed as the correct one, was 3.25" wide or more. Probably great if it fit.

Q: Lithium vs. lead

will the oem charging system made for lead acid batteries charge these lithium ones? Also, have they ever exploded?!?

A: Yes, a normal charging system will charge these batteries. And no, we're not aware of any explosions! The batteries have circuitry inside that protects against overcharging and over-discharging.

Q: Electric motorcycle application
I have an electric motorcycle that uses 4-16AH Pb batteries connected in series, charged with a 48V 5A Pb charger. The motor is a 15000 watt Briggs and Stratton Etek. The controller is a programmable Alltrax golf cart controller, peak current up to 300A. Can these be used in an application like this with the same charger? What is the ah rating of these batteries?

A: I would recommend contacting battery tender directly for a recommendation on that type of application.
