What Our Gearhead Experts Are Saying:

"I run the XT CN-M8100 chain on all my 12-speed Shimano bikesit's buttery smooth and shifts perfectly even under load. The HYPERGLIDE+ tech really does make a difference on punchy climbs and techy terrain, and the SIL-TEC finish keeps things quiet and clean longer than most chains I've used."

Shifting should be seamlessand with the Shimano Deore XT CN-M8100 12-Speed Chain, it is. Built with HYPERGLIDE+ technology, this chain offers precise, efficient transitions across the cassetteeven when you're pedaling hard on rough ground. Whether we're racing between corners or grinding up switchbacks, this chain keeps things tight, smooth, and quiet.

An extended inner plate design improves chain retention and reduces skipping under load, while Shimanos SIL-TEC surface treatment boosts durability and sheds grime better than standard coatings. It includes a Quick-Link for easy installation and is available in multiple lengths to accommodate various drivetrains, including e-bikes and full-suspension trail bikes with long chainstays.
