A: Please refer to the OEM service manual for the weight and amount of oil you need for your forks. If you need the forks stiffer, purchase stiffer fork spring for your weight and/or adjust the compression adjustments.

A: You need to refer to a service manual to see what weight of fluid is suggested. Most all cartridge MX forks use a 5wt fluid.

If you have bottoming issues, I would suggest that you check the spring rate is correct for your weight and your springs are in good shape.
Q: What weight fork oil should I use in my 1998 cr250? I weigh 195#, doesthat matter?

A: 5wt would be the standard weight oil for your bike. I would say you should be good with a 5wt oil but going to a 7wt would give your suspension a bit stiffer feel.
Q: Would this product work good in a2001 yzf 600?

A: This would be great oil to run in the forks on your Yamaha YZF600R. Bel-Ray recommends using 5WT fork oil for your bike.
