What is the actual difference in layman terms between I900 and I900R?
I am unclear on the differences for the 2 systems of the I900 and the I900R. Can you clarify for me in layman terms? thanks.

The SR-i900R has some added features over the SR-i900 that include a proximity sensor that will automatically arm or disarm your alarm depending on how close you are to your bike. It also has a ignition disable feature allows the user to remotely cut off the engine in case of hijack.

Is the wiring harnes on 2005 Goldwing the same for 2013 Goldwing?
I am trading in my 2005 Goldwing, and want to take the alarm off of my bike so I can mount it on my 2013 Goldwing. So....will the wiring harness and sensors be the same for both year models? I am also considering buying either the I900 or the I900R if the wiring harness is not the same.

Donald, the wire harness is not the same on the 2005 Gold wing as it is on the 2013 Gold wing. but the part # for the I900 is the same for both bikes so I do not think you will have a problem installing it on your new Gold wing.
