Not a Stainless Steel Header

This is a real good system at a really great price. We purchased this for a TRX 250X and were pleased with the results. The head pipe is chromed steel and NOT STAINLESS, just so you know. The description is a little mis-leading so read ALL descriptions carefully for your specific application. The silencer sticks out past the grab bar on the 250x about 2 1/2 inches so keep that in mind, you may want an extended grab bar. Other than those minor things, we love the pipe and would recommend it. It really opened the 250x up throughout the whole RPM range.

FMF complete exhaust sysytem is perfect

The exhaust system mounted with no problems and is sturdy. Sounds great. Have the same exhaust on my 400ex & son's 300ex. Buy the FMF power up kit and call FMF to help you get the right jet and your e-clip in the right place for adjustments.

Great exhaust

I have a honda 300 trx. I installed this pipe on it and was impressed with the ease of installation, and it sounds great. It does stick out a little further than my old one but i just extened my grab bar 3 in to protect it. I jetted the bike and the combo really woke it up. Im verry pleased with the performance.cant beat the price.

I installed the PowerCore4 on my friends 03' TT-R90 and it defiantly increased the over rev and torque of the motor! It sounds amazing over the stock pipe. I for sure recommend this pipe for any 4 stroke! You can definitely tell a power enhance on the smaller bikes. Avery348

Will this come with fmf decals?

FMF generally does put a decal or two in the box.

If by decals you mean stickers? normally fmf encloses at least one sticker in each order. But this is totally dependent on fmf inc. If by decals you mean the fmf logo on the exhaust then yes it will.

Do I need to rejet a 2000 XR 100?
MotoSport Staff Expert
1 month 24 days ago
MotoSportExpert
Some jetting changes may be needed on your XR100. If your bike is currently jetted properly you will likely not have to make any changes after installing this FMF exhaust. I would recommend installing the exhaust and riding the bike to see how it is running then tuning your carburetor from there if necessary.

Got suzuki ltz 50 all stock thinking of buying this to add more power would i need to add anything else to make it run fine?

Depend on your location (altitude/temperature) and how your bike is running with the current jetting you may need to rejet or make minor adjustments. Jetting can be very tricky, there isn't one setting that will work everywhere with every bike.

Would i have to get a new jet system or do any thing to the carb its for a Honda 2007 CRF100F?
MotoSport Staff Expert
3 months 20 days ago
MotoSportExpert
You should not have to change the jetting on your 2007 Honda CRF100F when installing this FMF Powercore 4 exhaust. FMF recommends stock jetting. I would recommend installing the exhaust and riding the bike to see how it is running then tuning your carburetor from there if necessary.

I was wondering do I have to jet the carb with this system or can I run it off stock jets for my 2000 honda trx 300ex?

MotoSportExpert
Yes you will most likely need to make some setting changes when installing this complete exhaust. There is not a specific setting I could give you for jetting your bike. It would really depend on your location (altitude/temperature) and how your bike is running with the current jetting. Jetting can be very tricky, there isn't one setting that will work everywhere with every bike. I would recommend getting a jet kit and taking your bike to a local motorcycle dealership??s service department to have your bike properly jetted.

No. You cannot use the stock head guard. FMF has a universal heat guard that will work with all pipes.
