The deeper pockets keep things in them secure. For a sizing comparison, I have the size 34 pants; the waist is right on and the legs are about 2 inches longer than my w34 L34 "comfort fit" jeans, leaving them a little baggy at the boots, but they don't droop down under the heel. Highly recommended pants!"
