Moto Tassinari is the leader in reed valve technology. Their V-Force 3 Reed Valve System will help increase the power and performance of your motorcycle or ATV.

Key Features on the V-Force 3 Reed Valve System:
  • Rubber over-molded reed cages to promote long reed life.
  • The unique and proven design of the V-Force 3 Reed Valve System doubles the available reed tip surface over a conventional reed valve design.
  • The V-Force 3 Reed Valve System design widens peak power and increases the horsepower over the entire range of the power band.
  • The V-Force 3 Reed Valve System incorporates the industry's first and only patented snap together reed valve design. The entire assembly is completely screw free, meaning that when reed petals need changing the job is now literally a "SNAP".

VForce 3 Reed Valve System

Somewhat easy to install. The existing air boot for the KX85 & kx100 will need to be trimmed, which a template plate is provided in the kit. I does mention this in the detailed instructions as a possible task/ Be sure to adjust your jetting, the V Force will make the bike run leaner. I had to increase the main jet from 138 to 142. Great product and provides additional power throughout the throttle range.

Increased mid range hit

I freshened the top end of my 02 yz 250 and added the v force 3 reed. I have noticed an increase in my mid range. So far, happy with the installation and performance.

GREAT PRODUCT

I have noticed a big difference of how crisp it is now and how responsive my throttle is now. Couldn't ask for a better performance item. It gives you instructions on how to modify the carb. boot and everything. Very worth it (97 CR250)

HORRIBLE!!!

DO NOT BUY!! My 2008 yz125 ran great with OEM and I should have left well enough alone. THEY DO LEAK!! All the reviews were CORRECT! Go with boyesen or stick with OEM. VFORCE are a waste of money and I could see light coming through the reeds right out of the box. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

No this would be for the reed block only (as pictured). You can find the carb insulator (16220-GC4-600) that would bolt to this reed block and the carb, in our OEM section for your CR80 here: http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/oem-parts/honda/1994/cr80/cylinder-head Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

Yes. You would just unbolt the old one and bolt on the new one with a new gasket.

There is not a specific setting I could give you for jetting your bike. It would really depend on your location (altitude/temperature) and how your bike is running with the current jetting. Jetting can be very tricky, there isn't one setting that will work everywhere with every bike. If your bike is currently jetted correctly you should not need to re-jet when installing the VForce 3 Reed Valve System.

I've heard that installing these on your bike might make it run a little leaner, is there any truth to that? Thanks?

I would recommend taking your bike to a local motorcycle dealership??s service department to have your bike properly jetted.`
