Product Description

M4 Exhaust manufactures exhausts which add power and a more race-inspired sound to your bike as well as lowering the overall weight. Extra time on research and development ensures your exhaust has the ultimate in quality workmanship, ease of installation, and the best performance possible for your motorcycle. M4 Exhausts are available in both Standard / Race and GP Series mounting configurations.

The GP Series mounts much lower and forward than stock, right near the right rider foot peg.

  • This mount will give you that "GP" look and sound.
  • Enjoy a deep, throaty tone from the lower RPM range through the mid-range - open it up and it screams MotoGP!
  • The M4 GP Series Slip-On Exhaust has a built-in baffle, tuning the exhaust note for a crisp head turning sound.
  • M4 has built a quality fitting exhaust that is a breeze to install; all mounting hardware and instructions included.
  • The GP exhaust system will shed some weight over stock to give your sport bike improved power-to-weight ratio.
  • M4 slip-ons are designed for use with the stock header assembly.
  • Flat black finish with a satin M4 aluminum name plate.

Note: All M4 systems are designed and intended for closed-course competition use only.

The exhaust was very easy to install. It took about an hour or so to take off the old exhaust and put on the M4. The sound is amazing.

LOUD
if youre going for loud and a sleek look, this is the exhaust for you. sounds beastly through low rpms and from 8000rpms & up (my powerband) it screams on the highway. yes you will set off car alarms. may be a bit loud for some but i ride with earplugs anyway for added precaution. however im still contemplating the stage 2 silencer

I installed this exhaust on my ZX10R in less than 30 minutes. It looks good and it is really loud. There is a little power increase once you get into the power band, but without a power commander you will loose some throttle response. All in all it is a good product for the price.

Ecellent Tone
Staying with the theme of the loud exhaust, I switched out a jardine GP-1 for this M4 exhaust on my 09 ZX-6R Monster. Very pleased with the improved tone that the M4 provides with similar noise level. Excellent product.

K9 Gsxr 600
Great exhaust for a slip on, definitely the best bang for you buck. Install is quick and the instructions are in the box if you need them. Now, the performance side of the install is not there, the reason being is you aren't going to get power from just a slip on due to the fact that the k8 and k9 have that huge exhaust cat/resinator, definitely takes away from the power you would receive from a "full" exhaust, you can purchase new midpipes through google search but you are going to need a power commander due to the fact that the bike will run lean from not having a cat/resinator. That is always and option. Ok, now the sound, the sound is perfect not to loud and not to quiet... your not going to anger the neighbors, it sounds perfect around the 6 to 8 thousand rpm range. Thats worth the 300 dollar price tag there, you need to be heard, but you dont need to be obnoxiously loud either. Overall a quality exhaust, worth every penny. Just make sure when you install it have a rubber mallet to make the exhaust seat correctly on the cat/resinator.

Love the M4 GP Slip On (06 GSXR 1000)
I bought this a few weeks ago for my 06 GSXR 1000 and I love it. I have had several other exhaust's on other bikes, but this one is my favorite. I love the short design which cleans up the bike a lot and the sound is great. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a reasonably priced exhaust that will add some power.

Great product at the best price
Got my exhaust super fast with no problems. Everything was in the box and in perfect condition and it all went on my bike without a problem. My bike sounds great and I spent $40 less than other websites and the actual M4 store itself which is in Dallas where I live. Thanks Motosport!

I have a 2008 GSXR750. Can i install this and go. Or do i require additional maintenance like re mapping the system?

How do I remap the bike after the exhaust, with a power commander?

You can use a Power Commander or the Bazzaz Performance z-fi fuel control unit. Make sure you profile your bike correctly before purchasing.

Depending on what power commander you have normally you just plug it into your computer and download the map settings from the manufacture of your power commander. The best thing to do if your not sure how to do it would be to contact whoever made the power commander your running and ask them to walk you though it.

Will I have to remap the back, or can I simply put the exhaust on and that it? Also is the baffles easy to put back?
Will I have to remap the bike after installation, or can I simply put the exhaust on and thats it? Also is the baffle easy to put back?Do you know what decibels it gives with and without the baffle? Thanks

I don't have a decibel rating for these. Anytime you alter the exhaust, intake or motor of a bike remapping is advised. You can ride as is but you will not neccsarily see any performance gains without remapping.

Does this exhaust have a baffle in it?
Yes it has packing and a baffle. You can take it out if you wish. It will only make it louder. Will not need remapping
