M4 Exhaust manufactures exhausts which add power and a more race-inspired sound to your bike as well as lowering the overall weight. Extra time on research and development ensures your exhaust has the ultimate in quality workmanship, ease of installation, and the best performance possible for your motorcycle. M4 Exhausts are available in both Standard / Race and GP Series mounting configurations.

  • The GP Series mounts much lower and forward than stock, right near the right rider foot peg.
  • This mount will give you that "GP" look and sound.
  • Enjoy a deep, throaty tone from the lower RPM range through the mid-range - open it up and it screams MotoGP!
  • The M4 GP Series Slip-On Exhaust has a built-in baffle, tuning the exhaust note for a crisp head turning sound.
  • M4 has built a quality fitting exhaust that is a breeze to install; all mounting hardware and instructions included.
  • The GP exhaust system will shed some weight over stock to give your sport bike improved power-to-weight ratio.
  • M4 slip-ons are designed for use with the stock header assembly.
  • Satin M4 aluminum name plate.

Note: All M4 systems are designed and intended for closed-course competition use ONLY.

M4 GP Series Slip-On Exhaust

This pipe is a very balanced set up.SUPER easy to install and sounds pretty sweet...A lot of people say it's to loud,NO WAY. I was actually thinking it could be louder,no B.S. Pipe sounds really good when your getting on the throttle and super quit when cruising on the freeway..Great deal for 200 bucks, and my GSXR -750 LOOKS KILLER WITHOUT THE PASSENGER PEGS !!! I ALSO ADDED A YOU TUBE VID SO YOU CAN HEAR PIPE..PIPE SOUNDS BETTER LIVE !!!!! PEACE OUT !!!!

Satisfied purchase

I bought this M4 and installed on my 08 gsxr 600. Even with the cat still on it sounded very good. Since, I deleted the cat and now the bike performs better, and sounds like a beast. I am more than pleased with my purchase.

Great slip on for the price.

i put this m4 GP on my 2011 GSXR 600 just to get rid of the big stock pipe. this exhaust is not much louder when idling but like others have said, when you are riding this pipe will scream and it is a nice sound that turns heads not the annoying sound. it looks very clean and well fit on the bike. installation was easy took about 5min. and motorsport always has my orders at my door within two days which is amazing. faster than any dealer around me.

Excellent slip on

2012 Yamaha R6. This was exactly what I was looking for. Sure, it will never be remotely comparable to a full system, but I was looking for a cheap way to get rid of stock. It is not much louder than the stock when at idle, but when you get on it, it screams. Perfect. Not obnoxious at all. Also looks great and is way lighter. I would highly recommend this slip on to any R6 owner.

Decent exhaust for the price

I was super impressed with this exhaust for the price. I was looking at 2 Brothers or a Yoshimura, but didn't want to pay the prices. I put this on a 2013 suzuki sfv650, and it sounds sooo much better. I left the baffle in, but it could easily be taken out for a louder sound. It's not a high pitched whiny sound. Its a pretty balanced throaty sound. I love it. Cannot speak for durablity because I've had it for about a week. Seems durable though. I would recommend this pipe.

A decent can

It wakes a bike up and definitely makes it loud if thats what you want. It's a deep sound though so its not annoying while idling then it screams when you open it up. Only one small complaint. The stainless piping had bad welds and one even had a hole in the center of it. Not a problem for me as I am a welder but for someone else that would have been a leak.

Nice exhaust

I just put this exhaust on my 2011 ZX6R today and I went for a ride right away. At first, I didn't really like that it looked a lot like a cone, but then it grew on me. It looks so much better and It's so much louder than that stock tin can and I can tell that there is a weight difference. Installation was pretty easy except for the top bolt on the foot peg, which was a little tricky to tighten but not too bad. The screw on the actual cone did not tighten all the way for some reason. No matter how much I tried to tighten it, it would just keep spinning so I just tightened that bracket bolt where the exhaust goes in and left it like that. Not sure if thats how that bolt is supposed to be or not. It didn't feel too wobbly so I hope it stays on lol. Other than that, this exhaust is cool and it's loud. It roars out on the street and other traffic can now hear me coming.

Will this exhaust fit my 2012 honda cbr 1000rr and does it have the o2 port built in or if it even needs it?
Top 1 Contributor
MotoSportExpert
No. The M4 exhaust is not street legal and will require a ECM program to compensate when installing it. It removes the catalytic converter and there is no O2 sensor bung installed. You can download the parts sheet here for your 2012 Honda CBR1000RR: http://www.m4exhaust.com/products/art/systems/CBR1000RR-08/HO8822-GP-CK.pdf
