No matter what I purchase, the priority modification, to any of my bikes is finding the right Pro Taper Bar for my bike. I have tried multiple other bars, but Pro Taper Contour Cr Hi bend is, by far my choice!
This Is a great deal on awesome strong bars and Very nice, strong looking clamps. the old 7/8 Renthals on my ride were tweaked pretty good and one clamp was bent beyond repair. I put the Windham mid rm bend and black clamps on my 04 CR and I love them. Very comfortable. Bike has been laid over by me and my nutcase buddies and everything is still straight.
Absolutely love the KDub bend Contour bars. It was like a brand new bike/riding experience after installing them. I'm 6'2" so the taller bend and the height added by the bar mounts made this set up perfect for me. The Turner bar mounts are beefy and look great. The only thing that is a minor issue was the bots that go through the triple clamp are a little too long and will hang up on the wire/cable guides on the steering stem frame neck on the KX450. Easily remedied by bending the guides slightly. Just make sure everything still moves freely through the guides after bending them.

Just got these ProTaper mid Bars with the Turner clamps for my 04 Banshee. After trying 3 different bar setups this one works the best not only for looks but feel and comfort. Love these bars, highly recommended.
I was impressed by the turner bar mounts. I thought theyd be poorly built but theyre beautiful. This combo is sweet and comes out quite a bit cheaper than if I had bought the parts seperate. Saving money is always a plus.
Really any of the bends that aren't "Mini" or "ATV" bends would fit your bike. There is not a Pro Taper Contour bar that is the exact same bend as the stock bars on your 2004 Yamaha YZ250F but the "Henry/Reed" Bend would be the closest to the normal OEM Yamaha Bend. I would recommend looking at the size chart to see the measurement differences in the bends.

Pro Taper contour bars and Compatibility with Pro Taper Tube?
HI, I have recently ordered the Pro Taper Oversized Contour bars and I'm wants to purchase a new throttle tube for my 2013, KX250f. Do the 7/8 Pro Taper "Twister" throttle tubes fit the oversized bars. I was unsure if the bars tapered to 7/8 on the throttle and clutch side??
Thank you for your assistance, I'm new to ordering parts without assistance.
The portion at the ends of the bars where the controls mount is still 7/8" even on oversized 1-1/8 handlebars. The bars taper from 1-1/8" at the bar clamps to 7/8" at the end. So yes, the Pro Taper Throttle Tube will work perfectly with Pro Taper Contour Handlebars.
The Xt225 runs a middle of the road bend. Unfortunately the specs are not available from Yamaha so you would have to measure the bars for exact specification. This kit will work fine on your Xt225 and all of the stock components would fit jno problem. Keep in mind when using this that the mounts will add about 1/4 inch of height. For a bend similar to stock, I would go with something like the Carmichael bend.
I would like to know how tall these mounts will make the bars, as I am looking to raise my bar height. Also, is the type that has a removable mount bolt, that can be swapped with a longer one and then spaced/shimmed? The mounts on my 00 KX 250 have a one piece mount, meaning there is no removable bolt. This is why I am looking at this combo.
The bar mount height might differ depending on the type of bike these are installed on. Whether if these mounts include a D-bolt type installation would be determined by the bike as well. The KX bike you mentioned about will use a different type of mount that you described (meaning no D-bolt).
