Best handlebars for kids!

My son recently moved up to a 65 from a 50 and he loves these bars. The grips and bar bend fit his hands great and he has better control of the bike. The kit comes with everything you need and is easy to install. I highly recommend these for kids. Bars that are finally designed for kids hands.

Little rippers

Bought these bars after my son went down on his kx65. Installation was easy all stock controls fit perfect, just beware grips are very thin be extra careful on the throttle side. Other than that no complaints my son loves these bars way better fit for a young motocrosser.

Big Deal in a little hands kind of way

My son being small in stature often complained about how his Hands hurt after about 20minutes of riding . After watching him explain how it was hard to hold on ( he used his hand to illustrate and explained the grips are big for his hands ) when I saw these bars I couldn't wait to try them . His first 5 laps he showed a big improvement in control and after a couple of 20min motos he wasn't complaining about his hands at all . He loves the bars and so do I . The only improvement I can see that they need is a more positive engagement for the cam . It needs to be more secure so it cannot release during assembly . Some grip glue should be included as well .

ProTaper microbats

I immediately noticed an improvement in my son's riding with the ProTaper microbars. He felt comfortable right away and felt more confident. The ProTaper microbars are one of the best investments I've made.

Q: Can I install brush guards which use end plugs on the Pro Taper Micro handelbar?
3 months 11 days ago
I am a 5'4" woman with small hands and ride a CR125 and KDX200 for off-road racing. I need hand guards such as the Cycra Pro-Bend or Acerbis X-Strong. Will either of these brush guards fit the Pro Taper Micro handelbar?

A: No the bar end mounts will not work with these Micro Handlebars.

Q: Replacement Grips?
3 months 22 days ago
Since the hand part of the bars is smaller I'm guessing that these need special sized grips. Is that accurate and where can I get them if so? I didn't see a Microbar grip listed on the website.

Q: What bend for a Kawakaki KLX110?
1 year 3 months ago
Can you give me a recommendation for a bend style for a KLX110 with a larger 8 year old. His current bars are Pro Taper are not stock and which are sort of high and don't look right to me. Others have suggested lower bars. I contacted Pro Taper and they told me these were really only designed for bikes like the ktm 50 and other small two strokes. I am not sure what 2 strokes have to do with it other than size but the 65 is about the same size if not larger than the KLX 110.

A: Handlebar bend is all about personal preference. It would be hard for me to recommend a specific bar you would like. I would recommend looking at the Size Chart for the Measurement dimensions of each of the handlebar bends. Feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

Q: Will this fit on a full size bike?
1 year 3 months ago
Being a shorter guy with small hands, I'm wondering if this would fit on a full size bike.

A: They could fit on a full size bike, however the bend dimensions are for a mini so they would likely feel small on a bigger bike.
