Wiseco Clutch Pack Kit Wiseco Clutch Pack Kit James - Kansas, USA Very easy clutch to install "I installed in my 2005 Suzuki DRZ400sm, very easy to change in this model, lay bike on its side, remove brake pedal, remove clutch cover, had a separate cover for clutch not the whole side cover, remove screws and springs, clutch pressure plate and R&R clutch plates, one problem I had was 5 of the new steel plates had the wrong splines so I reused the best old steel plates, went back together fine and works much better more of a crisp engagement. still gripes me about not getting to use all the new steel plates though, also order a new gasket for your cover while your at it."

Driven Complete Clutch Kit Driven Complete Clutch Kit mattb - pdx plates and fibers are great in these kits "The Steel plates and fiber are a great value in this kit! Dont run the springs. Just toss them out. Same with other value brand kits like Tusk and EBC - toss the springs! Run OEM or spend the money to get a high quality springs. With that being said, I have run the fibers and plates in many different bikes without issue and even with a rekluse added in there. Great value for the money."

Is your clutch slipping or dragging?

A Motorcycle clutch takes a heck of a lot of abuse. A few millimeters of friction material and a few steel plates is all that holds all the power of your bike, transferring it to your gear stack and ultimately to your rear wheel. If they become worn or, worst case scenario, the friction pads separate, you'll need a new clutch. Generally, a new clutch will last a long time even on track-only bikes, due to new materials being introduced like kevlar and carbon fiber. The EBC Street Racer clutch kit is one of those, impregnating their friction pads with kevlar for higher friction, longer life and better heat resistance. If you need a full kit that includes the drive plates (the flat steel plates that don't have friction material) as well as uprated springs, have a look at the Barnett Clutch Kit.
