Didn't work for me

Great idea, glad it works for some folks. I followed the instructions, watched the vid, I'm not a noob, but couldn't get it under the seal. Finally I pushed harder and the Seal Mate folded and creased badly.

Works as Advertised

Works as advertised. A little difficult to rotate around the fork tube but it worked, cleaned debris from around the seal, and prevented us from having to replace fork seals. Definitely worth the price.

Cheaper than fork rebuild

Worked great for me and a heck of a lot cheaper than rebuilding forks. Cheap enough to buy several and keep in the truck and the shop.

Fixed leaky forks

my forks started leaking and I thought great another fork seal is blown. But my buddy gave me one of these and showed me how to use it and after using it twice there was zero leakage! I bought a couple for myself and have worked great since.

I had a leaky left fork seal for months so i thought i'd give these a try BEFORE i spent $300 to replace it and to my surprise this little tool really stopped the leak!! (just make sure you use it as directed)

Hollywood, MD, USA

Use this tool one time and you will LOVE it!!! Easiest way to clean your seals period. I use mine in-between every riding session at Budds Creek Motocross Park in MD. Takes 60 seconds to clean both seals and keep peace of mind knowing they won't fail during a race. That alone is worth it. I've owned one of these for 3 years, nor have I needed to replace any of my seals since. Trust me. A must have for racing or riding. I use it on my street bikes too. Works fantastic!

Every toolbox should have these.

I bought the Seal Mate hoping they were right about the dirt and that I probably didn't need seals, My seals were leaking very bad when I tied the bike down on the trailer and after using the Seal Mate I have absolutely no leaks. I highly recommend the Seal Mate!

It Works!

I used it a couple times, but it got rid of my leaky seal. After I used it I had to pump the shocks about 15 times to reset the seals. There is a video on you tube made by the creator that shows you the most effective way to use it. Cheap leaky fork seal fix!

I bought the Sealmate as a last resort when I noticed that my forks were leaking significantly... As I'm sure everyone already knows, having your fork seals replaced can get expensive, and doing it yourself is one heck of a job!

I've read where people recommend taking 35mm film negatives and using them as you would use the Sealmate, but seeing as i haven't seen actual film in years i thought i would give this a shot.

All i can say is wow! The Sealmate worked the 1st try. I've ridden several hours since cleaning the inside of the seals with the Sealmate and i haven't seen a drop of fork oil since! Much Much Much cheaper than a complete seal job and provided the desired results!

Anyone contemplating a seal job because of a leaking problem, don't spend hundreds of dollars before you try the Sealmate! I RECOMMEND TO ANYONE IN MY SITUATION!!

Works good

They work great and last if you finesse them, obviously its just a piece of thin plastic and will bend and crease if you just try and jam them into the fork seal, take care of your tools and they will take care of you

This sealmate seems to have worked but is really flimsy. You have to be really carful with it. But as soon as you start leaking a little bit I think this product is worth getting.

A: you use it to clean out debris from under the fork seals, which is the common culpret for leaking fork seals.

A: The Sealmate slips between the forks and the fork seals. Once inside you circulate the Sealmate all the way around the fork. Doing this cleans out any dirt or debris from between the seals and the forks, allowing your seals to be able to create a better seal. They work great in my experience!

A: Use a thin blade flat head screw driver to gently pry your dust seal out first, then take the "hook" end of the seal dr and slide it under the fork oil seal and make a circumferential pass around the fork tube then pull it out. Do this a few times until you clear the dirt out of the seal. Then press your dust seal back in place. This will ensure your clean contact between the fork oil seal and fork tube.

A: It is as long as you don't crease it. It's made from very thin plastic and will easily crease if not careful.

A: It is pretty thin but iv used mine 3 times it seams to be holding up good its $100 for an oil change and seal clean so its saved me $300 on 3 different bikes so far.

A: I would recommend reusing it only a few times and make sure you clean it off good with each use
