Much better than oiled foam!

I bought this to replace a UNI foam air filter that had deteriorated over the years to the point of crumbling at the slightest touch on my friend's Honda 50. I have a 2004 SDG mini that came with a similar filter which is still in good shape today, so I have no doubt that this filter will last and require less maintenance.

Best price!!

I had the prescribed 15,000 miles on my 2010 BMW S1000RR and was looking for a replacement. The K&N is priced a few dollars more than a stock paper filter but will last nearly forever..... Not a very difficult decision. Motosport.com had the best price I could find for the K&N. Product was delivered a day ahead of expectation.
Best service, best prices!!

Does This Ship in 3 Days?
Do these filters (K&N KA-5090) really ship in 3 days after ordering. Most places I'm looking at say 10-15 days before they ship due to them being ordered directly from K&N. If you can promise me faster than 3 weeks I'll cancel my other order and buy yours.

I have a 1984 Honda Shadow VT700c?
I am looking to replace the OEM airbox with something aftermarket to increase the air flow was told K&N pods will do the trick I have already installed stage 3 jets and custom exhaust... is this the K&N product they are telling me about ?

This K&N Air Filter would actually be an OEM replacement which would fit into your original O.E.M. air box without modification or jet changes. What you are looking for would be a clamp on filter. You would need to measure the OD of the carb flange where your air boot currently clamps on and and the length that would fit. Then give us a call. If the correct size filter you are looking for is available through one of our suppliers, we would be happy to order it for you. Please contact one of our sales professionals to inquire about special orders and availability.

I bought the afs modquad for my 2014 ltz 400. It said it would fit my quad but doesn't. There is nothing in my air box for air filter to be hose clamped to. What do I have to do?

The K&N air filter for the Modquad AFS is only compatible with the Modquad Air Flow System. The K&N filter is only one part of the three-piece Modquad AFS.

I have a 2008 Honda Forman 500 with a jet kit and a K&N air filter do i have to tune something?

There is not a specific setting I could give you for jetting your bike. It would really depend on your location (altitude/temperature) and how your bike is running with the current jetting. Jetting can be very tricky, there isn't one setting that will work everywhere with every bike. I would recommend taking your bike to a local motorcycle dealership’s service department to have your bike properly jetted.

Just bought k&n air filter(HA-3500) for my atv 2000 Honda rancher trx350fe, do I need to oil it like the original foam air filter?

The K&N filters come pre-oiled so it does not need to be oiled before the original installation. The cleaner and oil required for a K&N type filter is different than your foam filter oil and cleaner. K&N offers the correct oil and cleaner for when you do need to service the filter. These filters do require oil and you cannot run them dry.
