Mississippi gets the final three rounds of the 2015 MotoSport.com AX Tour beginning with Round 7 in Hattiesburg on Saturday where Heath Harrison tries to stay undefeated in the "Clash for Cash" series.

Harrison wrapped up the Clash Championship last week thanks to his sixth straight win but also his closest competitors left the series for AMSOIL Arenacross. The Clash for Cash is the most lucrative of the three main events so expect Harrison to race just as hard as previous Rounds to keep his streak alive.

Two-time Champion and current defending Champion Johnny Moore got on the podium for the first time this season winning the AX Pro and AX Pro Lites classes and taking third in the Clash event. Harrison took second in the AX Pro class and passed Travis Sewell in the standings. Sewell who was also undefeated in the AX Pro Lites left for Arenacross and will lose all of his points.

In a memo posted on the AX Tour website this week riders must complete a minimum of eight rounds to be eligible for year-end points. Additional riders this rule affects, who were competing in the point standings in multiple classes, include Josh Cartwright, Steven Mages, David Ginolif, Mitchell Harrison and Cody Vanbuskirk. This rule benefits Luke Vonlinger who is in sixth-place in the Clash standings and has performed well in both the AX Pro and AX Pro Lites classes. In Round 6, Vonlinger took second in the AX Pro Lites and Clash series and third in the AX Pro class.

The Clash for Cash event brings the Top 10 riders from the AX Pro and AX Lites races to compete head-to-head in a 20-lap main event. Riders earn points in each class as well as the Clash for Cash, which offers the highest payout of all the races. The new AX Tour season is capitalizing on last year's record breaking turn-out as more than 30 riders entered for both the AX Pro and AX Pro Lites classes. Additionally, more than $175,000 in cash and contingencies is up for grabs this year.

Doors to Round 7 open at 6 p.m. (EST) and the Main event starts at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Forrest County Multi Purpose Center in Hattiesburg, MS. Buy tickets at Hattiesburg Cycles, 6412 UWS Highway 49 in Hattiesburg, MS.
