Howdy y'all and welcome back to MotoSport.com Gear Head weekly observations! This is the beach party missing Gear Head Ryan Roberts back at it with all the takes from Round 10 of Monster Energy AMA Supercross from Indianapolis, Indiana!

Here we are again, talking the same thing as last week, that this series for all intents and purposes, over. Jett Lawrence is the premier rider in the class and everyone else is vying for second place. Ken Roczen got the hole shot in all three races in the Triple Crown and Jett was able to pass him essentially whenever he wanted too. There weren't too many moments where I felt like Jett wasn't going to win the race and it was always just a matter of when he was going to make the pass. No one else really gave either of those two riders a challenge except for the third race when Chase Sexton made it somewhat close towards the end. Jett seemed to be content with just taking the second place in that race but once Chase was putting on a charge, he knew that he needed to make the pass and get the win. If Chase would have passed Jett for third and Kenny won the race, then Kenny would have won the overall so that is essentially the only reason that Jett made the pass.

This 450 Supercross series is Jett's to lose. I don't see anyone winning enough races in the last 7 rounds to pass Jett in points, unless Jett has an unfortunate injury. Maybe if he has a mechanical issue and Cooper Webb wins then he could pass Jett in points, but even then, I think Jett would be able to come back from an issue like that and get the title. At this time, I think it is just who from the 250 class can move up and challenge Jett, because I don't see anyone currently on the track offers Jett a serious challenge.

In the 250 class, Cameron McAdoo and Haiden Deegan gave us a great race that came down to the last race of the Triple Crown with a winner take all situation. Haiden decided he wanted to clip a tuff block on the start and that put an end to the drama, but it was a fun build up to that moment. Cameron now has the red plate and has a minimal lead of 2 points, so it will be going down to the wire and that does give me hope of having an exciting ending to that series.

There was a lot of track talk this week, and I am honestly over talking about tracks. I don't know what the solution is and I don't know what all needs to be done to make the tracks better, but just know this column will be track talk free for this week, except...the track was brutal.
