Chris Blose returned to form after crashing in Round 2 forcing a missed night of action and landing out of the Top 10 in three out of four Motos in Round 3 by sweeping both Motos on Saturday in Nashville for Round 4 of the 2015 AMSOIL Arenacross series.

Blose grabbed the holeshot in Moto 1 fighting off Kyle Regal who had little chance in getting by Blose for the win. Regal held on to second-place while Jacob Hayes, Blose's teammate on Team Babbitt closed the deal for third. Matt Goerke, also on Team Babbitt who entered Round 4 in the lead for points yet without a Main win crashed on Lap 5 and finished out of the Top 10, in 11th, for the first time this season.

In Moto 2, Blose just missed the holeshot to Bobby Kiniry who fended off a hard-charging field through Lap 4 when Blose made his move for the front and hayes followed right behind. On lap 6, Kiniry made a mistake and dropped to sixth behind Goerke and Regal. Team Babbitt looked to be a podium sweep with Goerke in third but he went down on Lap 9 falling a few spots back but then on Lap 11 he crashed in the whoops dropping to the back of the pack. Regal took third and finished third overall after a (2-3) night. Hayes held on to second-overall with a (3-2) finish.

Blose jumped back into the Top 10 thanks to the two wins (four total for the season) and is now in fourth-place with 118 points. Goerke's tough night dropped him to second place with 149 points, just eight back of Hayes. Regal is solidly in third-place with 139 points.

On the homefront, Gared Steinke added two more Top 10 finished including his third Top 5 of the season en route to a seventh overall, tying in points with Cory Green who was awarded sixth-place in the tie-breaker. Steinke, who crashed out of four main events this season, did not encounter much difficulty this weekend. Kirk Lauerman, team manager for MotoSport.com/Lauerman MX said before the race that Steinke's starts are there he just needs to avoid the chaos.

Steinke is in 10th place in the standings with Green behind him by only six points. Steinke needs to remain in the Top 10 for points through Round 10 to compete for the Arenacross crown.

The East Lites class competition resumed after a week off and Daniel Herrlein, wno entered Nashville as points leader seemed destined for his first win of the season but dropped out of the Top 10 after a mistake in the whoops on Lap 6. Mitchell Harrison took over the lead with Dave Ginolfi close behind. With two laps remaining Ginolfi finally grabbed the lead and took his first checkered flag of the season. Harrison took second and Tristan Charboneau rounded out the podium. Herrlein battled back for a fifth-place finish but is now second in points to Ginolfi who leads by one with 57.

Daniel Blair, who rides in the West Lites class for the MotoSport.com/Lauerman MX team, placed eighth though he gets no points. Blair currently leads the West Lites class in points.

Arenacross Round 5 brings two nights of racing (four Motos) starting at 7 p.m. Friday at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Buy tickets online or at the box office, 255 Highland Park Blvd. in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
