The MotoSport.com AX Tour returns to Tennessee for the 7th round of the series with a red hot Johnny Moore who swept the three main events last week in Jackson, MS and almost swept the mains in Memphis last month.
This is the second of three dates of the tour in Tennessee and riders line up at 7 p.m. Saturday at Tennessee Miller Coliseum on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University, 304B West Thompson Lane in Murfreesboro, TN.
Moore's surge puts him on top of the AX Lites Pro leader board with 84 points, in third place on in the AX Pro class with 79 points and in third place in the Clash for Cash event with 80 points. Cole Thompson has left the series to race in the West rounds of the 2014 Monster Energy Supercross series and will retain his points leads in the AX Pro and Clash events for at least another week. Moore might not have to deal with Thompson anymore however newcomer Todd Krieg made his presence known last week and Tyler Medaglia took second in the AX Pro Lites and Clash events along with a third place finish in the AX Pro.

Series note: The Starkville, MS Round 9 stop for January 25 has been rescheduled and relocated to run as a double header the same weekend as Round 8 in Hattiesburg, MS. Pros compete on Saturday only. See the AX Tour website for more information.
The top pro riders compete in the AX and AX Lites classes and the best riders of both classes compete head-to-head in their respective categories in the 20-lap main event entitled "MotoSport.com Clash for Cash" at each stop in the tour. The Arenacross Tour also features more than 30 amateur class of competitions including pro quad races and new this year is professional women's motocross.
